im sure i remember total wage bill in the last accounts was over £15m. so over £1m a month, we have well over 100 staff

havent we hired someone to effectively manage this and look at product options etc... i think we'll see a pretty steady improvement once the kit fiasco is sorted

I've assumed Hamer is going and gone 7-12th, which i would absolutely take. Last season we did brilliantly against all odds but i feel it was 2 years too early. There's been lots of changes this window, but we've invested in decent young players on long term contracts and less reliant on loans...

obviously - but we can withdraw his upgraded contract and basically say to him "this is it, sign it by xx date otherwise its withdrawn" and we can the publicly say he is for sale... we cant leave it much longer with him to make a decision as we need to have plan b up and running asap

you are quite right. i only looked at last 10 years, they got "double relegated" the year before i started looking - good knowledge (y)

got a bit bored at work and looked at the last 10 years worth of teams relegated, every year i feel we say the same about parachute payments etc and that they'll be certain to bounce back up...its just not the case, some "interesting" facts! - out of last 30 teams relegated, only 10 have been...
