Jimmy, bless him, had some great ideas, but also quite a few duff ones too-this was one of them.
When we were on tv, we had to wear a different shirt that wasn't showing such blatant advertising.
Coventry Talbot - what genius thought that up ?
To put it into context, that was in an era of limited (maybe even non) sponsorship on shirts and the like i believe, so iirc that's why it was kicked back, not because of the awful name.
Definitely frowned upon to switch home to away, i believe, maybe not even allowed anymore-really not sure.
Would sisu consider switching it to a(nother) neutral ground on safety grounds ?
I think SISU would attempt to switch the 'home' tie to 'away', otherwise they'd be forgoing a huge amount of income at a tiny stadium-even they can't be that stupid....or could they ?
Yes Mark, obviously a conspiracy-we don't want any independent journalists from national newspapers, criticising our glorious owners, do we ?
Nice to have an article written by someone who isnt involved in this train-wreck of a football club, so cannot be accused of being pro or anti SISU
Far better off than me lol
Studied and worked very hard though, and is a a Cov fan through and through, so fair play.
Nice to get some useful information from him.
According to my solicitor friend, it could take approx 6 months to get the case listed, and a further 2 months for the judgement.
This could then be appealed through 2 further courts.
