    Cheltenham 1 Coventry 6 - Highlights

McNulty was out of this world today. Just knew he was going to get his 3rd. Picked his spot with ease!

    Davies

Quality! First name on the team sheet next season.

How many chances are we going to give this prick? In the past 5 minutes he’s given a way a needless penalty, came for and missed the next cross and kicked one straight out of play. Undoing all of the hard work the other 10 are putting in!

At least one of the clowns has been taken out. Clarke-Harris did superbly for our initial equaliser the other night so I’m surprised Biamou is starting. I imagine there’ll be a reaction when he comes on after the hour. Glad Davies is back in.

    You swine!!

    Omen?

    Omen to that!

    Robins Rant...

Burge O’Brien Haynes Stokes (disappointing as used to really rate him) DKE x 2 Reid Biamou Beavon Vincenti Baker (if he counts)
  10. skybluepm2

    Support for Burge

You can’t have watched him very often this season Charles. The goalkeeping position is the first area that needs major surgery in the Summer, irrespective of which league we end up in. One or 2 gifts per season you’d expect and to a degree accept, particularly at this level... but 5 or 6...

    Haynes...

Glad you posted this. What a helmet! We need to get rid of Grimmer and play Hyam right back? I’ve heard it all now. Don’t forget to mention ‘I like Lee Burge but he’s looking tired’.

    Haynes...

Granted he played most of the games that season and earned somewhat of a reprieve but you must remember we were under a transfer embargo and we often had to score 5 goals to win a game. If we didn’t have the free scoring luxuries of Wilson, Clarke, Moussa and Baker, we’d have finished nowhere...

    Haynes...

Unless by some miracle that he inherits some form of footballing ability, sense of positioning and learns how to tackle in the next ten years, he is going nowhere but down. Not one performance this season leads me to believe that the op is on nothing but a Friday wind-up. I would be delighted...

Is there a future for the kelly-evans brothers?

Ah yes another classic. Was also racking my brain trying to remember the name of the centre mid with the shaven head who played under Thorn? Ended up at Nuneaton surprise surprise!

Hope you’re right Sir. I’m ever the pessimist. I certainly think we need to shake it up in the defence but wholesale changes could also be risky.

Can’t recall the last time I was as nervous about a fixture as I am for tomorrow. Which CCFC are going to turn up? Failure to make the play-offs now would be unforgivable. How many opportunities have we been presented? I imagine the feeling would be fairly similar to that of being relegated...

Would we compete in League One?

I agree that this squad is better than the one that took us down with a whimper and it does have potential to prosper and grow. The problem we’ve had since relegation from the Premier League is that we have started from scratch each and every summer (both squad and manager) after constant...

Is there a future for the kelly-evans brothers?

They seem like a great pair of lads and obviously are sky blue through and through, but for me, neither cut the mustard and there’s no room for sentiment in this game. If we are to ever become successful we must shift the deadwood far quicker than we have done in recent years (Finch, Haynes...
