Impact on Local Businesses of CCFC Move to Birmingham

spot on. Everyone i know who goes treat it like an away day. They are in city centre birmingham pubs drinking at midday on a sat and back on it after the game in birmingham At the ricoh, they would have rocked up to the ground at 2:45 and a few beers afterwards

    Psychology

Absolutely. Makes even more of a mockery of some of the stuff posted earlier in the season. Coming out of the blocks like that yesterday in such a big game is fantastic

    Mark Meets Joy

agreed. As is this is the 2nd time they have allowed us to play out of the city. Chances they would approve an extension or approve a 3rd time (if we went back and left again) would be very high

    Mark Meets Joy

It’s a very poor state of affairs if our only option to get back to Coventry is in the hope wasps has a change of heart and allows the owners of ccfc to come to play in their stadium knowing they are the ones who started an unstoppable legal case against them.

    Mark Meets Joy

Isn’t the question “what are the council doing to support a new ground ?”

    Mark Meets Joy

It will end up being extended. All they need to do is demonstrate they have ticked a box “here is a list of times we have asked wasps” etc. EFL won’t throw us out, they will just extend allowing us to play outside of the city

    Now or then?

who's ignoring it ? McFaz will be 34 next season and Allen isnt even into double figures for games for us this season is he ? I'm not saying they wont contribute, but suspect we will struggle if we are relying on these players

    Old Accounts Thread

don't disagree, not sure why the club aren't calling out the council if they haven't identified a site that would likely get building permission

    Now or then?

not sure i agree with that. Mason, Kelly, Westbrooke, Shipley, Allen, McFaz....suspect they may struggle in the championship

took us over in the championship in coventry. Now in league one, with a chance of going up, but left coventry twice and no sign of going back. Agreed, they aren't saints.
