I don't think it was to do with ability at all. More to do with causing damage to his body that would affect him beyond his playing career and would cause him discomfort.

I can't find any information on his contract - is that correct? He signed a new one in January 2022 before he went on loan.

He has been heavily linked with Sheffield Wednesday and I would imagine a few more clubs on loan. I'm expect he isn't included because he will head out to somebody in the next week or so.

There's little chance that Norton-Cuffy comes on a permanent, Arsenal think an awful lot of him which would make him outside out what we could afford. I do think there's a good chance we get him back on loan though and I hope that's the case. I'd also love to be wrong on the permanent transfer.
