    Umm...Remember sisu...

Whilst SISU have totally mismanaged the club over the past 4 years and have undoubtedly dealt Thorn a poor hand with a sub-strength team he has proven himself to be a poor manager. At this moment in time what would have more effect on team performances and might keep us up? A change of owners or...

    So...

What we need is an experienced manager who would instantly command respect from the players, organise what sparse resources we have and instil a sense of belief and intensity in the players and hope in the fans. Those who keep on about Carsley - what is this desire based on? A few decent results...

Can't understand, why no offer of help from elsewhere ?

Assuming we could find some mug sorry concerned investor to stump up the readies who is actually available who could come in and save the situation? I think we definitely need a decent target man style striker who can actually score goals and a midfielder who can actually grab a game by the...

    Thorn rejects loaning new striker

As I understand it we were offered Kitson earlier in the window but his wages of £20k a week rather scuppered the deal - Ever wonder why Pompey are in the shit? £20k for Lawrence, Kitson, etc

    A forest perspective - Full of confidence.....NOT!

You are spot on Otis - first 20 minutes will be vital - if we get at them, dominate them the Forest crowd will turn on their team. Their confidence must be rock bottom and with the crowd on their backs and that tosser Cotterill ranting from the side lines they will be there for the taking -...

FORM BOOK - CCFC v Forest

A win would be brilliant as it would give us 3 points but more importantly would build some confidence and drive Forest down even lower. If we can get onto any sort of winning streak at this stage it could make all the difference and maybe, just maybe keep us up. There is still a long way to go...

    Thorn rejects loaning new striker

Eastwood was spotted chasing a pony down the A5 yesterday that had got loose - finally cornered it in the BP garage with help from his Traveller mates - apparently its the fastest he's moved all season. Expect an announcement that he's tweeked a calf muscle today!

    Thorn rejects loaning new striker

We already have Eastwood here who isn't fit to play so lets not double the number - at Present Platt, Nimley and Sheff are doing OK so there is no need to panic buy. Lets get the right one rather than just get one just to appease some moaners - lets face it these people would only then moan that...

    Barnsley home game.....

3 pts at Forest and 10 pt deduction for Pompey and there will be some hope and then we must make the most of it.

    Barnsley home game.....

This was the deal we had negotiated with the club on behalf of SOC but it was voted against at the meeting because agreeing to do it was seen as working with the enemy - one of the reasons I resigned. Glad the club has seen fit to carry on anyway, just hope it gets promoted and marketed properly...

    Surprised no-one has mentioned this

Other thing people haven't mentioned much was the superb one on one save Murphy made with his feet - if that had gone in it could have turned the game significantly.

    Surprised no-one has mentioned this

Felt sorry for Baker as the ball seemed to take an eternity to come down - would have been a superb goal. Although by the time the Beeb had edited it down to our usual 1.2 second slot all you would have seen is Baker getting the ball in the box and scoring.

Striker who turned us down was Nile Ranger

    Kettering reserves / friendly

Not enough credit is being given to Cov for stepping in at very short notice to ensure that this charity event went ahead - Peterborough pulled out as they couldn't put out enough players yet we managed it. It raised best part of £6k for a fellow cash strapped club and shows that not everything...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

I had some sympathy with the Portsmouth fans after all we weren't complaining when Richardson signed Robbie Keane for £6m etc - you basically trust those running the club to be doing it correctly. However everyone in football has learned the hard way most owners are...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

As I understand it Jack the judge in the test case has delayed judgement for some reason and HMRC are getting sick of football clubs and this preference rule. Portsmouth may well be the first of many to be hammered if HMRC wins the case, which logically they should but hey when has the law had...

KEOGH v TURNER - Who is the better

To be honest I was pissed off when Turner left as he has the potential to play in the Prem but in reality with Cranie and Keogh playing so well we haven't really missed him. Turner is an outstanding player who can dominate centre forwards physically whilst Keogh does it through sheer guts and...
