Spot on. Every club needs organisations offering support. The thing they also need is accountability. SCs are not who should do the second one. They can’t stamp their feet and shout one minute and expect the manager to turn up to their HQ the next.

Much appreciated Shep. Don’t get me wrong I’m pleased to be out but as I said above it was best that I did. I felt that I was causing a problem within the fan base and with the relationship with the club. Look forward to seeing you at a match soon.

I never said I didn’t know who Roger was.

As heartwarming as that is I wouldn’t take it at face value. The impression I got whenever I came into contact with the club’s hierarchy was that my involvement was a problem. It would be interesting to find out who they did and didn’t have a problem with.

But if new people joined the board the issue of the involvement of the previous individuals (myself included) is not relevant is it? It’s the same as saying Russell Slade is still involved with Coventry City.

There needs to be between 6 and 16 on the board. The remaining board members are either putting themselves up for re-election or not continuing. There has never been a better time for new people to get involved.

Might as well try it. Nothing to lose. Needs new blood and there hasn’t been a queue of candidates despite the repeated requests for people to put themselves forward.
