Match Thread Southend United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 15th Feb

We're Coventry City. Probably the best team in the history of professional football at conjuring up defeats from winning positions and unexpected situations. Granted, this season has been a tad refreshing though.

The weather isn't forecast to be as bad as last weekend. I'd be surprised if this is postponed when last week went ahead.

    Hypothetical situation

To be fair, no different to this season although obviously far from ideal.

For a fixture like this, they'll train Friday morning then MR will announce the squad. They'll travel Friday afternoon arriving around dinner time. Team dinner and overnight before leaving for the ground about 90-120 minutes before KO.

Yes, 6.57. I think it's something to do with a train they used to get at 6.57. Not sure on the whole story but remember it was something to do with a train.

We've got tickets on sale for matches in Brum for all but two 'home' games so it's not going to make a massive difference if we just see the season out in Birmingham. Yes, we should be back playing in Coventry as a priority (as in now) but with tickets likely sold already for the next few home...

Crystal Place v Coventry U23 today

I'd say something like that to throw people like me off the scent. Good work.

    Indemnity and all that

As a side note, we should be continuing to try and address the whole point of the trust. We shouldn't lose sight of the fact that they really need a shakedown, top to bottom.

Wonder if Jones will make the bench tomorrow night if he comes through unscathed today?

Good bump, beat me to it. @SkyBluePete - What's the update? Are you still waiting on responses from some parties?

    Biggest difference this season?

When you look at it like that, the management and scouting departments really need a big pat on the back. Quality as well as numbers.

I want us to win...as I'm sure everyone does. I think less than that won't be great for top 2 but so long as we don't lose, that's all that matters.
