Both are ghastly. But the late 90s one is marginally worse.

Match Thread Coventry v Sunderland Championship Playoff 1st Leg Friday 9th May

I'm in Cyprus. Nowhere is showing the match. 10pm KO here and most places close at 10pm. Will have to be creative with that streaming stuff. PUSB

I think it is reasonable to deduce that a person continually downplaying the impact on females of previous FA policies is not prioritising equal opportunities for women. I think we should agree that we see things differently and let this particular exchange conclude.

Well let's not debate then. You have sought to play down the effects of males playing in the women's category throughout this exchange. You continue to argue, "only 30" and you have every right to think this is not seismic or existential for the women's game. I disagree. It is you who has...

I have never claimed any data backs up my case. Quite the opposite. My point is we don't have any reliable data and yet the FA confidently announced their spurious figures. I think the hypothetical trans boogeyman is beneath you.

I cant find it now but a year or two ago the FA replied to a FOI request that there were 72. Not certain of the figure. The FA told us that 11.8 million players football in England but I can't find how they arrived at that figure. I really don't know how and who they are counting.

I have made my views clear. You believe I should have more reliable data than the FA, and unless I am certain I should accept their data, even though I know they make little attempt to keep accurate records. The FA use an app called, 'Just Play' and anyone can search for football events and rock...

Ask them, not me. If they can't maintain a single sex category without clear rules then they are failing to offer fair competition.

That's up to the governing body. It's the reason they exist.

I think everyone is affected if category breaches are allowed. In this case it would no longer be women's football it would be mixed. A female player would never know when she may encounter a transgender player and she would risk suspension and ridicule if she spoke up. '30' now, who knows how...

Genuine answer. Each governing body should take expert advice from human biologists and then make a ruling. It is likely those with any 'male advantage' would be barred from entering the women's category. For example, Caster Semenya is now barred from competing. Seb Coe has vowed to ensure World...

The reason is that the FA knew it was unfair all along. They were shown the science of male advantage. They were shown the exemption in S.195 which allowed them to exclude transgender males from the women's category. Read Sharron Davies' book: Unfair Sport. Yet they chose the '30' males right to...

If the FA has a verification process why are any males playing in the women's game? This point is crucial for equal opportunities. You seem to believe the FA has somehow innocently allowed males to be playing in the women's game? Is your position that the FA knew there were X amount of males...

    Womens football

You expect me to know how many people are playing football in the wrong category in England or expect me to simply believe the FA? That's plainly ridiculous. They make no real attempt to keep accurate records so their figure of 30 is just plucked out of the air. The FA has not proposed any...
