Not so sure myself. I'd personally want Grimes to be getting the ball off the defenders and pinging diagonals to the wingers quickly (when EMC, and Wright are back). We already had players who could pass sideways and backwards before he arrived. I'd hope he pushes us to be more direct with...
We hopefully be able to get our wingbacks further up the field with Grimes' ability on the ball. Shouldn't be as much of a risk as when Thomas or Kitching are trying to find them.
Agree with this. Don't agree there's a huge gulf between us an Ipswich. Thought they looked poor overall.
It was a total gift of a scoreline.
Let's hope that dreadful starting XI pays dividends against QPR.
Haji has now missed more games than he's played in this season. Played 15, missed 16. Next week he will have been out 5 months. That is one serious ankle injury. In fact broken ankles can heal faster.
He's not "on the grass yet" either.
Our throw-ins usually go backwards because our movement and ball holding is poor from the forwards. I suspect if we threw forwards we'd lose possession even more often.
Just goes to show that some of these ratings on apps and websites can't be trusted as a true reflection.
No way on earth Torp gets higher than Rudi. BTA higher than Simms etc.
