    Rooney

Fair enough, but I think Torchy's point isn't about him not working, more about the fact that he's always been at the top as a professional. He's not had to work his way through the leagues - as a player he's obviously been gifted with a talent far beyond those he's trying to coach as a...

I think he's telling them not to lose possession mate. It's a bloody obsession. Funnily enough when we went more direct at the start of the second half we got a goal and looked a threat. Then we went to our standard approach even when they were down a man. And I'm with you on having Bassette...

Sorry, I'm not having that. FL has them all week and picks the team. He's the manager, it's absolutely on him.

What, you mean pass it forward when there's a centre-half, full back or goalkeeper available? Get thee hence with your dangerously old fashioned ideas. 😁

1-0 down and we're fucking around at the back with not a care in the world. If you can't sort something that basic out, you're not much of a coach.

Fair enough, as long as it's a minimum eight stories up. 😁

Piss poor. We have the ball for ages but show fuck all attacking intent, they pick off a shockingly lazy pass from Sheaf (edit, Eccles?), and we show fuck all appetite for defending. One down. Criminal.

    Robins to Stoke ?

Cheap shot mate - and it's nothing like that as you know. I could just as well say that your uncritical defence of King in this is like the girl who cries "he only hits me 'cos he loves me." An equally crappy and pointless thing to say though, in truth. Why not just accept that a lot of...

    Robins to Stoke ?

I suspect an NDA was signed as part of the final settlement or gardening leave agreement. Even if not, I doubt Robins worries too much about what Doug said or says. Within the game his reputation is clearly robust, Robins wouldn't gain much by an unseemly spat with a former employer.

    Robins to Stoke ?

Well, personally speaking, when he comes back to the CBS, no matter who he's managing, I hope he gets a tremendous reception - he deserves nothing less. And then I want Coventry to win. It's entirely possible to want both of those things, isn't it? They're not mutually exclusive.

Good thinking, you might want to wear rubber gloves when you're opening your front door though mate. 😁

    Jake Bidwell

Exactly this. I think Bidwell has done enough to offer him a new contract for a couple of years at least. How much would a replacement cost us, is the way I'd look at it.

    Jake Bidwell

No argument from me. Bidwell looks like an old-school left back, imho. Focus on defence, keep it simple, overlap and cross where there's an opportunity. Don't let your opponent settle on the ball, fight for everything. Da Silva isn't by any means a poor footballer, and he's perhaps a more...

    PLYMOUTH FALLOUT

It's not right, but it is kind of funny. Sometimes you just get to that point in a game where if you didn't laugh, you'd cry. I'd rather we didn't get to that point against Plymouth...

    Germany *again*

Of course you are sceptical, because you're desperate for it to be Islamic terrorism to justify your worldview. Again mate, are you against killing innocent people, or doesn't it count if they live in, say, Gaza? Maybe you're not a giant hypocrite. Personally, I'm sceptical.
