Not really, every team has good spells & bad, that's what makes it one of the most competitive & exciting leagues in the world. It changes so so quickly. Assuming you're looking at 6 game form table? Bournemouth are 18th in that yet 3rd in the 10 game form table. Conversely, directly below us...

Typically, only players playing in good teams or particularly high scoring teams will ever get Assists as it relies on the ability of your teammates to finish opportunities. As an example, you could roll the ball to a teammate, 3 yards out with an open goal but he inexplicably misses it. (Or...

But you've picked Assists which is one of the most unreliable stats going? Do you prefer 'Chances Created'? For that he's on 41, 7th in the league. Bear in mind though all of his are from open play & everyone above him is a set piece taker. Last time I checked (before last weekend admittedly)...

In fairness Kelly didn't score v Blackburn, yes it was well struck but it was off target & we got a lucky rebound off the keeper. He & Sheaf are very poor at long shots & Hamer seems reluctant of late.

Agreed 100% but I think we have every right to debate this particular tactical decision.

Yeah, utterly baffling. I know Hyam has his faults but on the other occasions Dabo has played CB he looked miles out of his depth, not just Bournemouth last week but even the Forest & Reading games early in the season when we massively improved when he moved to WB & the equally poor Dacosta got...

Realistic value of our current first team squad

    For perspective, £24m wouldn't even buy 2 of West Brom's front 3.

Sheaf & McFadzean were very good, most of the others had an off day.

Why? He'll do what the manager asks for the good of the team - as he should, think it's harsh to be overly critical for that. I haven't heard Robins' reasoning but if he played him ahead of Hyam for tactical reasons rather than fitness then it's on Robins.

You think he wants to play CB?

First half was very poor & yes, no surprise that Dabo looks a fish out of water at CB but can't be too critical as he's taking one for the team by playing there. Decision making was off, simple passes went astray & once it became clear that we were struggling with playing through them we should...

Funny you mention that, you might recognise the keeper in the top clip showing De Gea how it should be done! 😁

    Man Utd / De Gea

Ref did exactly the right thing, knowing VAR was there to actually make the decision. Can't ban De Gea either way as there's clear contact & I'm sure it was painful but he gambled, trying to exaggerate it rather than playing on hoping that the ref would indeed stop the game. Foolish.

That's the thing, he's still constantly improving too. Phenomenal player.

    Gyokores song. Finally

More to the point, he hasn't scored since we started singing it, for that reason alone it should be consigned to the bin!
