Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

The 3 we have, are all the wrong type of strikers we need for the system we play. They all want to run in behind or played to their feet. We need someone to go direct in the air, win the first/second balls and build the attack a lot higher up the pitch. Don't think Riis is a bad suggestion tbf...

Get him deported and straight to the front lines.

Are these recommendations based on stats or having watched the players? I've watched Kozubal quite a few times and he's going to be excellent. I mentioned him on here at the start of the season as someone to buy. Afonso Sousa also at Lech Poznan would be another good buy imo.

    season ticket sales

My mistake, I looked at the non early bird prices. I still think it should be a small increase.

Take it up to £500 for non premium and £550 for premium. £20 and £30 increase.

    Gamesmanship v Cheating

We should ramp it up a bit, install a wave machine in the communal baths, every time the door opens, a blast of fire shoots down and singes the hair of the poor bloke under it home alone style.

    Thomas & Kitching

I think both are decent and I think Kitching is the better of the two. If the opportunity comes to upgrade either I would take it. Binks and Latibeaudiere are both useless and definitely need replacing.

    Taiwo Awoniyi

Did he flag for Grimes or did he flag for EMC/Wright who was offside and blocked their defender running back?

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

It's a part of the game but if someone isn't robust enough and will miss half a season every year, it raises questions for me, I like him and think he's decent.

Would anybody else be looking to move Torp on? Clearly talented but can't keep himself fit and ends up missing half the season due to that.

Maybe not, but I do know that colleagues of mine have had their mortgages jump up £400-£500 a month. It's huge money and if you borrowed towards the top end of your budget, then you're going to start struggling with those increases.

    Keepers

Collins needs to go, but how often does a back up keeper usually play? This season has been odd due to injuries and loss of form. I'd be half tempted to keep Wilson as back up. Bring in a first choice on loan and give Dovin the season to fully recover and then we can look at the situation next...

    Our choice of captain

Based on current squad it has to be Kitching. Strong, aggressive, never backs down, puts his body on the line, leads by example, willing to do the nasty stuff. I called for it at the start of last year, we look so much better defensively with him in the side.

    Wrights chance

It was a free kick, Thomas shoved their lad to the floor and you can see the ref put his whistle to his lips straight away.

Already over it, Sheffield United are so far ahead of us, I could only see a defeat in the final, but I would have been there cheering them on regardless. Le Bris set them up well, stop us playing and try to nick a winner at the CBS which they did, and they tried to do similar again last night...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

I'm hopeful we get Wright sold. It needs to happen for a couple of reasons imo, he's far too inconsistent and 2 years on since his signing, we still don't seem to know his best position, it's no good scoring a hat trick then being completely anonymous for the next 6 games. He will stifle the...

    Wright and Simms

Get rid of both, and Asante too. I can take players not being good enough if they put their bodies on the line and work hard (Jamie Allen). But they're both jogging around the pitch, don't look interested. Neither offer the goods for the amount of money we paid. Rebuild the front line, and I...

Looked like it should have been Wrights/Asantes ball, both near post, both get sucked in. Absolute room temperature IQ from the pair of them.
