Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

We don’t need to raise levels. On current form we will comfortably make the playoffs. We just need to maintain levels

    Doug got it right

His motives are obvious. That he wants promotion to maximise the value of his asset. However unlike his predecessors, he seems to understand that for promotion to happen we need a decent team and decent staff. I get the impression that he sees the management side of the club as being no...

    CBS Upgrades

I wouldn’t object to the lights being turned off in the build up to the game. I think that can be quite atmospheric. It’s just all the flashing on and off that I think looks cringe

    CBS Upgrades

Yes, they aren't bright enough for 4k TV. If we had got promoted in 2023 they wouldn't have been up to PL spec and would've had to be replaced. They will have the ability for light shows. Fans need to make their voices heard if they're against that!

Outside of the Midlands “Cov” would likely be met with confusion. If you’ve spent the last few years living in South Wales then you’ll likely be in the habit of saying Coventry

    Time to believe

6th place is currently heading to 68 pts finish. That is very achievable. First target though should be to make sure we finish in the top half again. That would be 4 seasons in a row of being top half championship. Also our 8th top half finish in 10 years. That sort of consistency is what...

    Premier league standard

I think there is almost a trial period. First you have to prove you're too good for the Championship (by getting promoted) Then you have to prove that you're good enough for the Premier League (by staying there) The current situation though is unsustainable, as its just the same teams over...

We’ve lost 2 games. Every team in the division will lose two consecutive games at some point during the season It’s not really cause for alarm

Match Thread Coventry City - Ipswich Town [FA] Match Thread - Saturday 8th Feb

Just a reflection of the times. Carried on into the 90s. There is only 1 single club in the premier league era that has never had a sub 30k crowd for a PL game, and that’s Newcastle. Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal etc all had below 30k for at least 1 PL game.
