Yes I know I was comparing. Leicester have a better chance of winning the Premier League than getting relegated

Unbelievably that's true. Got to give a lot of teams the belief that the top four can be broken into

You haven't won the FA Cup, surely that just settles it?

Seriously though, we are similar in many ways. Similar sized cities, same ground size, both had extended stints in the top flight. You have always maintained better crowds and used the move to the new ground to your advantage. We did the opposite when we moved.

Thing is with Leicester, just like Stoke, they have hit a successful period at the best possible time. The Premier League is huge and both clubs being in the top 10 will bring massive revenue and more supporter worldwide.
I have never ever considered Stoke a bigger club than us, but right now we are worlds apart and they don't look like they'll leave the top flight for many, many years to come.

That is only one major trophy compared to our three. We've played European football three times, won the second tier trophy seven times, have a bigger fanbase, have finished second in the top flight lol.... Think we only just edge it though seriously. We're both bigger than blooming Stoke though

I hope they carry on winning. It would be hilarious. I like them and it's a great story. I really like the manager as well. I wonder if a certain other manager would be special enough to get them top of the league.

There is a forum called foxes talk for you leicester lovers

Don't be a cretin. The fact they are nearer geographically than Manchester or London means exactly what?

They say they couldn't give a fuck about us but neither Forest or Derbyshire care about them. I hope the Thai fucks off and they go bust.

Here's the most recent rivalry poll on the Leicester board. Exactly how ours would be IMO. Obviously Villa instead of Forest though as the biggest and most successful club in our area.

1st: Villa
2nd: Leicester

I don't think there's a 3rd though for us though. Possibly Birmingham but I think 99.9% of City fans don't have any real dislike for them.

It means at least you might have shopped there.

I hate the fact that Leicester got away with going into administration all those years ago and after that, every other club who has gone into administration since, has suffered the consequences.

From what I remember, they got away with it without any punishment. All debts simply wiped out, nothing owed, no points deduction.

Had we been that first club to go into administration, I think the past 10 years wouldn't have been so bleak.

That's my only gripe about Leicester really.

No time for Leicester, but gotta give Vardy some credit, scoring 11 games in a row in the prem is a decent effort.

to be honest, i'd forgotten they existed until i glanced at the premiership table and was amazed they were top. Then i thought to myself, "leicester, that's not far from coventry is it?" i'm all for the underdog, so it's fine by me. in a couple of weeks, i'll have forgotten about them again.

lol

Surely they aren't going to blow it? They were 1-0 up at home to West Ham which put them 10 points clear with 4 games left. West Ham have scored in the 84th and 86th minutes to go 2-1 up. Now into injury time.

And Vardy has been sent off and will now get a suspension.

Tottenham 7 points behind, and a better goal difference, with 1 game in hand.

Finishes 2-2, penalty in the 4th minute of injury time! Huge game for Spurs away at Stoke tomorrow night.
