It's a strange feeling this , me being in my 30s i can't remember a season of hope and optimism ..i was young when we won the FA cup a bit too young to really remember it and besides that i remember a very good season at highfield road in 1997/98.
So far we are 7 points better off than last season after 10 games which is actually alot, and with the next 2 games coming up you would like to imagine that we will be sitting on 25 points ,12 points better off and with a game in hand on teams around us ..
Its just a surreal feeling and still don't know how to think or act lol , i still believe we should take it a game at a time and firmly believe we have the best manager in league 1 , who will probably bring coventry their highest league position for quite some time .
I actually enjoy watching us at home , yes i go away and its been a bit naff , with some bad luck but i believe we will get the balance right and start picking up the points .

Huge thankyou to tony mowbray , mark venus and jamie clapham for bringing (in my opinion) the best football to the ricoh arena so far and the most exciting team for some 17 years .

Play Up Sky Blues

Its a shame we cant get a few more thousand up there instead of watching the egg chasers.
where I work it makes me sick the amount of people who are now talking about going to watch Wasps when those same people were at the Ricoh last season against Gillingham. When I ask them why they havnt returned all I get is cov are crap and the Wasps are more exciting. What a load of bollocks

No doubt those thousands who now stay away will be the first to moan if we get to the playoffs and they cant get tickets

We will finish in the top 6, I am absolutely convinced of it. As long as the club ensure that people who buy STs and memberships in the 2nd half of the season are behind those that already have them when it comes to prioritisation for important games come April then all well and good.

We're doing okay. Home form has been very good, but our away performances need to improve 10 fold if we're to get promoted.

Yes I would like to add my sentiments. Tony mowbray has given us all hope and in my opinion we have the best manager in the league and when that happens even on a strict budget we can bring in good players and spot good players.

To think of this time last year and I watched some crap football at the Ricoh. 0-0 against Walsall and chesterfield. We lost 1-0 to fleetwood which was dyer.

We had some rubbish players. Webster and Jackson and some real bad attackers. Pure crap.

So so lucky not to go down and now we are bearing the fruit and without mowbray we would of gone down without a doubt.

I am very optimistic and there is absolutely no reason why we can't get a top 10 finish and with that challenge for a top 6 possibly. I am a realist and we won't finish top 2 but the next 8 positions are up for grabs.

Unbeaten at the Ricoh and playing real good football. Young hungry fast players. Few tweaks here and there and a bit of luck then yes it's exciting for us.

But also keeping Armstrong and Kent, or replacing them with quality loans is going to be key too.

I am happy for myself with our success so far but I am more happy for my son and all the younger fans that have never experienced anything but pain and shame in their time as Sky Blue supporters ....long may it continue
