Away Kit Ideas (1 Viewer)

I have to say I'm glad we finally have an idea what the home kit looks like. Its took them long enough. But the away kit is still unknown. I've been hearing across Facebook that it will be red, but this has yet to be confirmed by a reliable source, so do with that what you will. So what is everyone hoping for? I think we need a darker away kit after 2 very light strips in the last 3 years. I'd quite like to see a black kit with white or gold lining, maybe lime green and black. But what about everyone else? What do you want to see? Btw, I'm planning to use some of the answers for Cooks Question on Sports Lounge on Thursday, so if you want to comment but don't want it read out on air, please say so. Looking forward to hear the ideas you guys have :)

Red and green. I'm amazed we don't use the civic colours of coventry. We should either use half and half like the 1922-24 season or a more contemporary look, predominantly red with a River Plate-esque green sash.

However, if we are talking history, going with red and black would always be ok in my book too.

I know that the club (and many others) have tried to cut costs by using simpler badges in the past. I love the badge we have on the home kit, but after seeing the recent WBA badge on their new home kit I think the simple white elephant and ball that was used recently would look great on the away kit.

Maybe I just banker for hanker for history too much!

I wasnt a big fan of the last green and black kit. I agree with Skateitup, why dont we use our civic colours, Red and Green. We used to use them on our home strip back in the day

I think red and green can go well if it's mainly one colour with the other as trim, like Portugal and Morocco and whoever else does. What you want to avoid is a complete travesty involving the colours

Wasn't there a 'fashion' designer who used to do stuff like this? SBS, if this one gets the nod, first thing you should do is buy yerself a bullet proof vest, mate.

Some examples of where I think it works! Also, as someone said, the Portugal kits is always looking good. Especially on CR7 :p

Our original kit was pink with a navy blue trim which would be an interesting choice.

Boogie, you need to get a job at Nike for next season. I'd buy that one.

I'm sure a fan of one of the Scottish clubs (maybe Kilmarnock) used to always knock out kit designs, he ended up designing a few kits for them.

With the resources available nowadays, you wonder why lower division clubs don't do this more often.
I would buy this in a heartbeat..

A definite winner...would be first at the shop to pick this up. I think most fans would wear this one home and away. Shame home kit not like this....sky blue with white and dark blue across the middle. That would complete my wardrobe for every weekend for the whole season. Nike give Boogie a job
