I know this may descend into, 'Bournemouth are going to make £60M +, whilst we got under £3M, Coulibally and all!' (better now that's off my chest!) but a big well done to Callum and Bournemouth.

Will the City players now please step forward and do just a little bit on Sunday to cheer up those that can't change clubs !!

Amazing achievement can't wait to see what their finances are like given they made £15m losses just getting out of league one.

Totally obliterated simply by winning promotion.

Actually pleased for WIlson tbh.

Did well for us, never played the big I am, never agitated for a move...

If we must lose our players, really pleased it's for someone who seems fairly grounded to do well in his career and life.

Why you obsessed with finances? B'mouth showed some ambition and it's worked. While our owners don't and look where we are. When sisu took over Cov were a stable championship club and b'mouth were fighting relegation in league 2. Now there getting to the premiership and were close to league 2. That's what happens when you have investment and they only get 11,000 a week! Albeit Russian millionaire lol but does go to show

I'm not obsessed about finances. I'm happy for them, it's always nice to see to see small unfashionable clubs have a stint in the PL. But then it gets used as a "such and such team got promoted, so we should....." Which doesn't mean anything if we don't take time to look at how much they spent.

Tbf you hit the nail on the head with the Russian millionnaire.

Geez they may only have 11k, but their paying a lot for their ST's

Not if they lost similar amount last season, and again this season. That'll be £45m of the £60m, leaving £15m to fund the squad next season.

So what? they will have had their day in the sunshine and go down again smiling. I recall an interview with Graham Taylor many years ago when he was talking about Watford and saying that he wanted to make them a yo-yo team. Could not understand it at the time but certainly do now.

Oh Ffs Tony. I've said I'm happy for them, stop being so bloody picky. Blame the OP who mentioned finances.

And with any luck we'll become a yo-yo club, a league one-championship one.

Awesome achievement and I can't deny it, I've had one eye on their results all seasons simply because I'd love CW to do well. Which he has. Well done Callum.

And another pen to Callum Wilson (albeit not scored by another Bournemouth player). Had a stonewaller denied last week, but denied, probably because he's got about 12 of the 16 Bournemouth pens this year.

Most teams who get into premiership do it at a loss. Not saying you but many fans have been brainwashed by sisu into the ideology of sustainability but in football that gets you nowhere as we know.

As for there season tickets. £720 for 2 adults and 2 concessions is reasonable especially given the football they've seen this season. 90+ goals theyve scored. I'd willing pay that for entertaining football lol

23 goals. Think we can get him back on loan for the Crawley game?

Well done to him and Bournemouth. Deserved promotion and deserved for Wilson.

One ex player I'll always be pleased to see well when away from the club.

Dug rug in to earn his chance with us, proved himself, got a move, continued that form in a higher division, and can only continue to move upwards. Well done Callum and Bournmouth

Departing striker Callum Wilson delivers a message of thanks to Coventry City and its supporters after completing move to Bournemouth
Coventry kid Callum Wilson hopes Sky Blues fans will understand his decision to move from his boyhood club.

Wilson came up through the Academy ranks with Coventry City and insisted the club would remain firmly in his heart as he headed for pastures new at Bournemouth.

The striker said: “It’s every player’s dream to play for their hometown club and to score so many goals last season went beyond those dreams.

“I was playing for Coventry City with so many of the lads I grew up and I can’t thank Steven Pressley enough for giving me that chance and believing in me from the start of the season.

“When I was asked at the end of last season whether I was going to stay, I really believed that I would be here at the start of next season.

“But as the weeks have passed, there has been more and more interest from clubs in the Championship and it became clear to me that there was a real chance to play in a higher division.

“It gave me a really big decision to make and it’s not one I have taken lightly and I think most supporters will understand just how tough a choice this was for me.

“I have sat down and talked it through with Steve Waggott and Steven Pressley, my family, everyone at Bournemouth and it just felt like the right move at the right time.

“I have to let my head rule my heart as this is my career – but my heart will always be here in Coventry.

“I know Steve and the manager wanted to keep me here but I can only hope that the deal can help them add to the squad. I know that will give them a great chance of going up next season which is something they, the other lads and the supporters all thoroughly deserve.

"The owner also called me to wish me the very best which was something I really appreciated. She also said that she is sorry to see me leave but the way the club have supported my decision, whether it was to stay or to move on, has been first rate and I want to thank them for that.

"Lastly though I want to thank the Sky Blues supporters who got behind me all of last season. They played a massive part in the success I had last season and, as a City supporter myself, it was an honour to share it with them."

Great to see Bournemouth win promotion to the premier league, I think the Bournemouth 3 will now be released, do you fancy any of them back here?

Bournemouth played brilliantly tonight and all season long, fair play to them.

Callum Wilson's goal tonight was also totally disgusting and it gave my Mrs an orgasm just watching it..

Seeing the likes of Swansea and Bornemouth come back from the edge of conference league football keeps me believing that maybe one day it will be our turn....................

legend - harry saying he will go to the very top
future england player?

It would be better for him to stay at Bournemouth for another season, rather than joining one of the big boys

They have been the best team i have seen this season outside the prem,, real decent Lb and RB and the side play with so much width.. With Wilson every time i have watched them he cannot be kept out of the game even his quiet games he does something that create's opportunities for others.. He has more than a few attributes to make it in the prem he just needs to believe in himself and he will be fine, how far not sure nothing is certain but he stays fit big clubs who already taking interest will be ever closer to knocking his door now..

Seemed very level headed and deserves his chance,, if Nugent, Ings and Austin can make a decent living Wilson could be a prem player for a few years yet if compared to those mentioned....

They wouldn't come back Alsopp hates the cov fans following his constant abuse - from a very reliable source. McQuoid would be ok if there was some pace in the side. Couibaly worth a punt

Am I the only one who's pissed off that last Saturday 13000 sky blues had to witness a pathetic performance against a pathetic team.
But Bournemouth, who can't even fit 13000 into their shit hole ground, now are going to get premier league football?

Coulibally was shite just look at his past football history.
Why do you think we got him, no one else wanted him
