Other results have put us down to 18th with 4 of the teams below us having 1 or 2 games in hand :(

Doesn't look good does it. Sacking SP is the only way to stay up imo.

Posted the table on gmk. Loads of teams have games in hand on us.

Yet beat Rochdale on Saturday and we should raise several places...

If we beat Rochdale we are only 4 points behind them, lose and we could be in the bottom 4

We can go into the bottom 4 if everyone else wins their games in hand.

How likely is that? There's a reason they are where they are. And it's not just because they have played 1 or 2 games less than us.

We will need 50 pts to stay up. That's 1.05 pts average per game for the rest of the season. This far we have managed 1.11 pts per game.

Concerned yes, but no need to panic just yet.

What key players have we lost this window?
Alsop?

we actually dont have many key players, we catually do not have many players at all!. Even Pressley amits our squad is wafer thin. We have just shipped out more players than in, and that leaves us vunerable to injuries and suspensions.
We, in my opinion are definitely in a relegation battle...and how many of our players really care?

Twice in the last 10 years 50 points would not have been enough, and a further 3 times it would have been down to goal difference

I was only looking back to 2007/08 and every time 50 pts have been enough, although once it was down to goal difference.

Good chance it will be time to panic after another 6 games.

We have either a shit manager, shit squad or even both. Our next 6 games are against 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and Scunny. Scunny are now above us on GD with 3 games in hand. They are on a great run. I even have my money on them to get promoted at big odds. We couldn't even beat Yeovil where they had lost most of their home games and only scored 6 goals at home all season. Now we are playing the clubs that have been getting the results.

We have Barnsley and Crewe 1 point behind us. They have 2 and 1 games in hand respectively. Then we have Colchester in 21st with a game in hand. If they win the game in hand just 1-0 they would go above us. That would leave us in the bottom 4. And this is without the run of games we are now going to have.

Concerned? Getting very worried more like.

Don't panic Pressley is bringing in 3 forward types, look how good he has been in the past at bringing in loans. I can now see a promotion push with these 3 youngsters who if anything like Akpom will be allowed to play every now and again in between under 12 games at their parent club.

What is the point on bringing in a kid from a Premier club when we have people like Thomas here are we saying they are more finished than our own players.

Interested to know how many players pressley had got through in 2 years?

Be interested to see what your plan is. After all you've slagged off the players and want to get rid of the manager.

We haven't got any key players they went last season

The goal difference is more telling of a team's performance, the odd win might gift ccfc 3 points, but there is a greater need to score more and let less in to avoid GD being the decider. Sort that out and the points will naturally follow.

Thats true, it's more reaslistic to add their average points per game for each game in hand they have which still keeps us out of the relgation zone, admitadly in 20th place but still with a little cushion.

However the last 6 form table has us on 0.83 points per game with our close rivals in much better form. The 2 teams below us (after adjusting for games in hand) are colchester on 1.66 points per game and leyton orient on 1.16, barnsley are on 1 point a game at the moment and crewe on a massive 2.16.

it really could go either way at the moment, but our rivals presumably having much better moral than us and us having a relatively difficult run over the next few weeks is a massive worry. Doesn't take much though for a bit of luck to go our way, win a couple and the pressure is off at least for a while.

As You say the True Table based on ppg has us finishing 20th.

Not bad for a team with one of the lowest wage bills in the league ;)

With the way this club is being run I'd consider it a success to not get relegated though I'd have no hope that it wouldn't just happen next year instead.

I assume your wink smiley is in related to something I've said, but yeah I think our league position is pretty much in line with the amount of investment in the squad though of course I'm guessing, I simply don't believe our wage bill on current players is top 6 and is much more likely to be around the bottom 6. Even more the case if you take into account investment in the squad and deduct as negative investment selling your best player for 3mill.

Which clubs do you think have a lower wage budget than us?

I'm not going to get into a wikipedia war with you, it's completely pointless and both of us would be arguing without the facts. I've given by reasons for thinking our wage bill is low before and my reasons for disliking using the word "budget" Since you were apparently searching through my posts yesterday you can do the same today if you'd like my thoughts, you aren't worth even the time it took me to write this.

maybe my other username will engage more with you
