I'd suppose it'd be the Open Arms. Never really go in there tho, normally end up going to town to go to either one of the Spoons or Scream pubs.

I enjoy beer so I have a few locals. Bedworth Liberal Club, Bear and Ragged Staff, Collycroft Cricketers Arms, Bedworth Royal Oak and the Old Goose are a few I often frequent

Cheap pint still in the Wallace Otis?

Last time i was in there (6 months ago) £2.30 for Carling.

Probably 6 months since I last went, so can't update you I'm afraid. :thinking about: Tends to be a family affair when we go now and for a meal. Food's not bad actually and very cheap.

Used to be the Shepard or the Wallace, but I'm moving to Courthouse green. Anyone know what the Royal is like?

Devonshire Arms for me, but my local local is The Wheel.

I sometimes drink in the Barras Social Club and occasionaly in the Rose & Woodbine.

In town my favorite pub is The Campbell.

The Pippen is now called The Coventry Oak, it's now been taken over and has been painted black and bright orange!

before i left cov (22 years ago) i would go to the public bar at the chase hotel on the london rd ( near my house) or the bulls head on the binley rd (where my mates went) remember you could get a pint in the bulls head at 16ish.;)

I bloody well have'nt got a local as the French bars near me are totally shit.I live in a fairly large town with loads of bars but every one of them you would find a better atmosphere at a wake. There is one bar when i do go out with my english friends which is OK, and the barman will give you a free drink every 3rd of 4th pint, but it does'nt open week nights and at weekends he will close up if not a lot of people are in there at 9.30, hence most socialising is done in peoples houses, but i really miss having a local and is one of the main reasons i'm selling up to come home.

My local would be The Newlands in Tile Hill but haven't been there in ages. Much prefer the City Centre, more choice and good meeting place for me and friends coming from different parts of the City.

If we're talking about 'Local' then it would be the Royal Oak or the City Arms, quite like craven street though.

Geographically it's the Painted Lady but only use that now and again. Devon is my local, although I can count on one hand the amount of times I've drank in the lounge since it changed round 5 odd years ago.

Use the Rose and Crown on Walsgrave Road a fair bit as well.

Rough pubs? I've seen more than one person get a shoeing in the Brewer & Baker in the early hours a few years ago. The Spittlemoor too. Back then they were about the only 2 pubs where you could get a later drink, hence they were full of pissheads and naughty people with the odd straight goer thrown inti the mix.

Almanack in Kenilworth. Bloody expensive though. Saw Oggy in there on Friday night. Other good pubs are the Virgins and The Clarendon, near the castle.

Finbars could be very naughty, especially on a Sunday night.

Also, when Generations opened at the old Theatre One it kicked off there all the time!!!
