Just one of the many questions we will have if WASP's take over and lease us the ground. What colour will the seats be?

if it turns into yellow n black I for one wont be going always said id never go to anywhere else to watch em play but I must admit I think id now go to 6fields to watch em! cant believe I just said that

There's no way they will want sky blue seats, with ccfc and 'sky blues' written in them. I would expect them to change them in the summer to yellow and black.

I don't see how they can do a hybrid of yellow / black Wasps / sky blue and blue ccfc.

Not all bad news, I've heard from a reliable source that removable Sky Blue seat covers are going to be purchaseable from the CCFC club shop and will contribute towards FFP

I would expect them to change 2 stands to yellow and black and leave the other 2 sky blue.

Could not care less what colour the seats are ..they are for putting my arse on .. At least the players wouldn't be invisible in front of the seats

Think it was about 1981 we first put in sky blue seats. For the first century they were just plain.

I wouldn't stop going just because they were black and yellow, but if they changed them all it wouldn't feel like our home anymore would it.

You see I do care, it will make us feel even more like tenants than we are now. Every time I walk up to my seat I will be reminded it's not our home any more.

That's the problem, it isn't our home and never has been. We have always been mere tenants.

I would actually support a move to a stadium 'in the Coventry area' (within reasonable distances) rather than watch my team play in a stadium with yellow and black seats and stupid fucking insect livery all over the place.

I disagree, Stu, not about how it may look, but the fact they won't leave any sky blue anywhere.

Let's think about it sensibly here for a minute.

From Wasps perspective they will never make a go of the Ricoh by themselves and they will surely want us there as a tenant.

Why on earth then would they totally make the stadium so we wouldn't feel at all at home? Why would they do that? Why pee off the team whose home it was previously and who will still be playing there?

They did that and all that would do would be to speed our departure from the place.

It would suit them and benefit them to make it feel like a home for us too. It has to feel like our home ground too otherwise there is no point.

I think there will be icons of both clubs and there will be some sky blue remaining in the ground.

100% convinced of that. Be madness to do anything else but.

Heard Wiz Khalifa is a Wasps fan.

As soon as he heard their colours were black and yellow he became a fan instantly. Even wrote a song about them!

What little information we have managed to obtain says that there are NO plans to change seat colour but this is unofficial and that's the problem - we would like some contact with Wasps to get just this sort of questions answered directly from the potential new owners

And the alternative? Playing second fiddle to a Rugby Club (and subsidising them) with little opportunity of generating new income streams. A new stadium is the only way forward if this club is to build a sustainable future. Fuck me, I sound like Fisher, but given the situation we now find ourselves in, I cannot see an alternative. Unless we are happy to just tread water in the bottom 2 divisions. I guess some people would be happy with that.
