get tickets for me and a mate, based on these circumstances...

1) we both live/work in London and will not be getting to Cov until 4pm on Friday (cannot go to ticket office)

2) club not selling online or on the phone it seems

3) we do not have ex-STs to get us seats

4) can't go in the Gills end according to a mate who says they are sold out

5) don't know anyone with any spares

We have booked hotel and trains on the basis that we would have no problem getting tickets (Gills, Friday night, Sky, etc), but now it looks like we'll be reduced to watching the game in a pub on Sky.

Thanks Coventry - I knew that the excitement about the return would be punctured by something stupid, but to "sell out" the ground with whole blocks empty is a mess-up. Anticipation turned to disappointment before we even go back!

The club is selling online only on Friday Spider. And after 5.30 will have a pick up point at the Ricoh (up to 4pm from club shop)

You're in the same boat as me, I also happen to live in London as well.

The unclaimed 12/13 season tickets go on sale at 9.30am Friday morning. You can order these online and collect from the Ricoh Arena from 5.30pm onwards.

Hope this helps.

My main issue is that i'm not going to be able to get to the Ricoh until 7pm, so I'm assuming the collection queue is going to be rather long at this point.

I agree totally with you, same here. Work away from cov, web site not working and phones not answered.
Crewe full ground, Chelsea full ground, why then with 5-6000 seats still free can we not buy a ticket?
Total incompetence by sisu fisher and the Ricoh.
I need 3 tickets if anyone can't go? Please pm me.

Tickets are being sold online from Friday 9:30, there will be no sales in store on Friday. You can pick up tickets before 4 pm from club store or from 5:30 onwards at the Ricoh

Same boat as you. Any idea whether the Freinds/Family feature in the ticketing system lets you buy an extra 2 tickets?

I work and live in Coventry and have been unable to get to the shop to purchase and the on line system has failed me so far using a computer and an ipad.

Those seats are being given first option to past season ticket holders to renew. I see no harm in that??

There isn't any harm in it other than the problems it has added to. Would the hardship of using a different seat for the ex STH's for our first game back have been worth it for a smoother sale of tickets?

The South stand is going to sell out in hours. I'd say minutes but our systems won't be up to that!

Have you registered on line and can remember your password?

No, didn't know I had to.

I wonder what the total demand is...i.e. if we had unlimited capacity, could we be looking at selling 40,000 tickets for this one?

If they had done that, you would be on here being outraged that they disrespected ST holders then.

I only get outraged with them telling us lies and people backing up their lies.
But of course you love having a dig at people not worried about showing their anger at SISU.

I don't even understand why some must always have the same seat unless they need a padded seat through piles or are vertically challenged so need a seat with a clear view.

My arse is in good shape and am not short so go where the best laugh is.

The queues to collect tickets will circle the Arena at this rate. The club ought to get the barrow back out and flog pies and bottles of lager off the back of it.

Why? I wouldn't care.

I have got tickets in different seats but will go back to our normal seats after this game.

If they had done that, you would be on here being outraged that they disrespected ST holders then.
