Surely deserves a start against Middlesborough doesn't he? Did more in the first few minutes he was on than ROD did all game.

If he is 100% fit I would imagine he would start.

Eastwood and Jutkiewicz must be Thorn's preferred front two.

I very much doubt he will be fit enough to start yet. We will probably see him play 15-30 mins for the next couple of games, until he is match fit, then he will start.
Just my opinion though. Thorny knows best.

Did you notice on Saturday he was wearing a thigh support.
I reckon his hammys are still dodgy, so he will get a sub role again.

Well, I'd be surprised if they weren't still dodgy. I'd think both Bell and Eastwood were in on Saturday out of desperation. Both did well though in my opinion.

Eastwood has had a choppy career with Cov. He was on a great run when we signed Jon Stead on loan and Coleman dropped him. He had 5 goals in 6 games or something. A fully fit and confident Freddy is capable of scoring anywhere around the box. Sadly, he is normally neither of these and doesn't always help himself. It is his last year and we need him the most right now!

I do rate Eastwood, I would have loved to have seen him play alongside Adebola. Reckon that would've been a good partnership.

Needs more minutes and training, still looked a bit dodgy running around, I = think we risked both him and Bell to try and get a win at home knowing we have tough away game following and then a 2 week break.

If Eastwood is not 100% fit, I would give Baker a go upfront
My team for Middlesborough would be
Murphy
Christie Cranie Keogh Hussey
Clingan
Bigirimana Thomas
Bell
Baker Jutkiewicz

Every time Eastwood had a spell of scoring, he either got dropped or moved out on the wing.

But I think he could do with a fresh start somewhere.

As for the coming weeks, I'd keep him as an option to bring on 60/65 mins, until he has full match fitness.

Every time Fred has got in the team recently he's gone on a run of goals and then been unceremoniously dropped! Give him a chance and he'll do the business!!
