He's a player. Was once very promising, and if he can recapture some of that form; he'd be a very worthwhile addition. So, yes, I agree

Coventry Medical For Swanson

Recently released Posh man Danny Swanson is set to undergo a medical at League One rivals Coventry City today.

The Scottish midfielder turned down a new deal at the Posh and has spoken to a number of League One clubs, and seems to have chosen Coventry.

The midfielder was never a big hit at London Road, as fans failed to take to the former Dundee United man. However, he did feature as a regular member of the first team last season.

Just spoken to my Dundee United supporting colleague who couldn't rate him high enough. States he has all the talent in the world, two very good feet and can beat a man and put in a good cross but stated his depression as a negative, stating he went off the boil just before leaving them after getting called up for the national team and then withdrawing from the squad. In summary says he is a very good signing.

Thanks ccfcway...if he does sign, it would be interesting to know what was said to him by SP and SW if he's choosing us over a number of other L1 clubs. I guess we've not offered him more money than other clubs.

A very positive sign,

WM

He also has a phobia of large crowds and doesn't like loud noises, perfect for us.now we just need 6 more players, that nobody else wants.

Pboro offered him a new deal, he rejected it, Pboro are having to do wheeling and dealing due to FFP. This is the way Clubs do their business at our level.

Omg I'm laughing so hard...

Were signing a depressed Scott with a Dicky heart ....
I hear we've lined up a few more medicals for the week with SP interested in long John silver for moussa replacement and Stevie wonder up top.
Stephen Hawkins considering a move also .

Welcome to Scotfields!
Kevin Kyle's & Sandy Robertson's footage looked just as impressive!
Time will tell but here's hoping!

Turned down Aberdeen recently.

This was called by @eplagent on twitter a week ago.

I snapped him up on FM about 3 years ago. He played as a 10, just behind the magnificent Vitali Rodionov. They were truly spectacular together, the Championship had no idea what had hit it...

If only FM and CM were real life!
Then CCFC would be damn successful-the treble or quadruple most years...sigh

Nuneaton have just signed Jack Dyer from Burton,if City had signed him some people on here would be excited ...

Oh come on, the borough have a much bigger budget, City can't compete with a giant like that!
