I'm sure the game after the rotherham one, against spurs in the cup, was called off as well. Although it is possible I just imagined that

I thought we had one called off for snow at the Ricoh due to conditions around the ground?

Ok Ok I stand corrected..:D

Still wouldn't have happened at the ricoh and as far as I am concerned we could also have attracted more - better players if we still played there.

I confirmed this on here well before jim brown not that anybody listened to me!

Im being honest steve. Im not interested in the sixfield games whatsoever.

Im past slinging the shit about the rights and wrongs of it all though.

Paper states game 17 years ago was due to snow, but I'm sure it was fog. I remember it being called off half hour before kick off... Woking won the rematch :-(

I can remember going to a home match (I'm sure it was against Rotherham) a few years ago and Cov and Warks radio announced the game was off just as we were parking up. Andy Gorum was playing for us at the time and I started watching the darts on sky sports a few hours later and I swear to god he was sat in the crowd with a pint in front of him!

I think you're right regarding Spurs. I seem to remember that Ernie and Willie were going to do the flick up & volley at half time in the original game.
