Wait. What?

I can buy now if I've been to away games? When did that happen?

I've bought all my tickets from the away club though, does that still count?

No bud, people were allowed to buy them as of today, would you and Ecky like to use my name?

How long have we known we were playing Arsenal? How long have the rules been upto 15% of capacity for away fans? to suggest this was put on them all of a sudden by Arsenal is not true is it.

The reaction from fans after it was announced that it was on BT sport on friday night would have suggested limited ticket sales though I would have thought.

No, the question is could the club guarantee we wouldn't? My disappointment is they didn't even try to find out.

They must have thousands of people on their email/telephone list, even a quick email to gauge fan opinion within a 24h turnaround may have helped them make a decision, but nothing is not acceptable.

I do understand that the club does not want to be left holding the baby on this one but it feels to me they were far to ready for Arsenal to sell them for them.

Perhaps but were as the Club have said for good PR "We will take the second batch" we all know that Sisu are about £ and if they can get it then they will do what needs to be done.

So what your saying is that the club got it right not to take the full allocation even though we will be sold out a week before the game with very few on general sale and the lowest amount of season ticket and home game ticket customers in modern times , so that's the way it goes hey some have to miss out ..
What your not saying is the fact otium are not arsed whether we've got 5000 or 8000 there cheering the team on as they get the money anyway

Sums it up precisely.

its a disgrace..money first again before the people who count, the fans

Really? I thought everyone was saying what a great opportunity on Live TV in front of a national audience to protest against SISU, banners were being made and things were happening at certain minutes in the game... oh wait, now I understand why they declined them.

Yes and rightly so, cant have a go at them for being incredibly dumb all the time and then when they make a sensible business decision have a go at them.

My issue is they never even tried to see if they could sell them, had they and it was not viable I would have no issue whatsoever.

The thing is testing the water would have never achieved nothing because of putting them on sale to everyone else first, ST Holders, Members, etc which there have been a lack of.

They use the previous credit card information on the system.
Can you PM me as well?

I am joking if your still breathing !!

I've been to away games, I haven't purchased a single away game ticket from CCFC, as I usually pay on the day, so nothing shows up in my account making me unable to purchase online. I might still have some stubs knocking about so the only way I could possibly purchase is by taking a day off work to drive from Pompey to Cov and purchase a ticket in person (assuming they accept stubs as proof of attendence which in itself is flawed as they can be passed around). I get what you're saying but there are definate flaws in the way this sale has been handled.

ChiefDave did you need/want a ticket for the game, I might have a solution if your interested?

Don't need one, but thanks for the offer. Would prefer not to give SISU my money where possible, not that it really makes much difference when it's going to be sold out anyway.

Lol I see what you are saying, but I am not going to jump to conclusions and suggest they sent them back because 5000 protesting looks better on them than 8000+ (obviously it does but to what extent)!

There are issues ,firstly created through TV scheduling ,what was the lag between the draw and the BT selection around 4 days then more lag till going on sale on Monday ,where they could have sold to ST's, members and anyone who had purchased a ticket for Sixfields in parallel with no danger of any in that group being disappointed .

That would have left a further 36 hrs to make a call they made Monday lunchtime,,seems they made the call 48 hrs early and had far to many categories ,In fact by limiting themselves Introduced the need for so many categories. The main culprit has been the televising though.

I do not know of any supporter who does not want SISU gone, but if it had been my call I would not have taken the extra tickets.

I see lots of tickets available, just not able to add any of them to my basket. Anyone else having this trouble?

Yet more conspiracies

The bottom line is they made a mistake. They had to make a judgement call, but by spreading out the sales categories as they did they did not give themselves enough time to make the correct call.

I understand the decision to an extent. We didn't quite sell the full allocation last season, and that was our first visit to the Emirates, it was £12, and the game wasn't televised. Given that, I can understand why they perhaps thought 5000 would be enough this time around. Unfortunate for those that miss out, but I hope people don't start abusing ticket office staff when the tickets sell out later. People can rightly blame SISU for much, but this was an honest mistake imo.

They didn't give fans the chance to buy on general sale before deciding on how many to take/give back. I'm not saying it's a conspiracy theory but it's bloody awful decision making. It makes no sense.

Well that was fun trying to get one of the 8 tickets available. 600 my arse

I guess there must be a huge queue at the ticket office so they only made a few available online. When I looked about an hour ago there were about 600 unsold tickets.

Block 26 had hundreds available before 9.30, but dissapeared before GS started

Meh, I'll just watch it on telly. Why brake a habit of the season that has been forced upon me. Would have been nice to be there/been part of a stand in what a joke our club has become though.

How bad have the club screwed up! Even if they only took half of the extra 3k would of been a bonus !

Exactly, even if it genuinely is nothing more than a mistake it just highlights the appalling way everything about the club is run these days.

Those say SISU would have to pay if they weren't all sold make it sound like they'd be putting their hands in their pockets which is of course nonsense, it would just mean their cut of the gate receipts would be slightly lower.

The phone ordering system completely lacks a hold function as well. It either rings out or says the person is on the phone... Wish I could get down to Coventry but I'm about 100 miles away atm!!

Complete Joke.

I have been to 4 away games this season with my 2 boys. Because i book the tickets and not them i was only allowed to book 2 seats yesterday. What am i supposed to do flip a coin to decide which 1 I take? I even called the ticket office 14 times yesterday before I got through and was told "Sorry but we only have 1 person buying although we can see the your 2 boys had tickets bought for them, because they didn't buy the tickets themselves, they are not eligible to buy a ticket now"

I'm online at 9.30 to see about 10 tickets available none of them together. WTF.
