Is the answer to what to do on this day now staring us in the face with poor old JH's sad predicament? A protest gathering on Jimmy's Hill in support of the great man with the emphasis on raising some dosh for Alzheimer's research and showing a good side to City fans amid all this crap.

There is no need for you to explain yourself to these people.

They constantly go on about doing things to unite the fans then...

1 They Do not make any suggestions.
2 They Do nothing about it,
3 They Slag off any ideas.

I'll be there don't care if there feelings are hurt! they are the types who do nothing and then will want to take credit when things change...

Bring yourselves to the Hill for this one time lets make a noise so that we cannot be ignored or stay at home and watch our team die...

I can watch the game for free and make my own private protest, to me its morally wrong for us to be playing there. If we don't do something we will be playing in Northampton girl a lot longer than 5 years.

It's my choice as it's anyone who wants to go in, my view is its wrong but will not insult anyone who foes not agree.

Everyone to their own and total respect to the hill protesters.I personally just don't get it,I would protest right outside the ground.If you've travelled to see the game on the hill then you may as well go in the ground and make a silent protest like wearing Sisu out printed t shirts and sitting right next to the directors box.I'm sure this would get more coverage.

Why do people try to discredit those that go to protest on the hill with constant snipes that they only go because its free and can see 1/4-1/2 of the pitch-like its what they actually want to do? Why can these people not go to protest- where is the morale high ground in accusations to the contrary- sorry I just dont get it?

You don't need to stand on a hill to give money to Alzheimer's - if his name was jimmy lake would you have stood in a reservoir in Northampton?

Really it all sounds so tacky.

Lets all stay at home and show we don't care.those on the hill and those in the ground are exactly the same. just showing it in a different way

So when they had the poll tax rallies if they all stayed at home we would still be paying it but people felt strongly and came out in force afraid to many of us don't obviously feel that strongly about our predicament.

Hey, you remember how that great protest of around 6000 people got the councl and sisu to get to an agreement and we now play in cov. No, me neither

The drum wasn't there Sunday, so I'll get in touch with him regards to bringing it against Sheff.

If anyone has a drum, vuvuzela, air horn or anything that makes a good deal of noise, bring it.

I know him and we already had our places ready for the boycotts at Walsall but that never happened.

They will not let you go down to the side of the ground, the stewards (from Coventry) tell you its private land and you cannot stand outside the ground.
The police back them up and move you up the hill.

If a peaceful protest was organised outside the ground with the permission of the police in advance with good communication and an effective lobbying group(sky blue trust??? What do you actually do) I can't see any event organised being a problem.Has anyone tried this??

I'm gonna head to the hill for the 1st time but I can guarentee it will get minimal airtime on sky. Something actually outrageous needed to be organised for anyone to take note. A mass walk out during the game or some form of non violent/non iligal disruption from the fans. It would of shown a lot more passion than 30 seconds of sky showing some guys on a hill. Most probably because of what happened at the weekend sky will end up reporting 'that's the divide of the fans, they had a fight the other week.... Oh and it's gone out for a throwing back to the game.....' So it won't just end up being pointless for the SBA it could end up being negative.

This game is a 4.00 PM kick off..when do clocks go back????..
need to make sure you can be seen on hill if so many going.

Is the hill near enough to ground for floodlights to light it up??

Or is it farther than that??

For this game because the tv cameras will be there lets show that the fans going in and us on the hill are one. Those going in stand with us on the hill show some solidarity then go down the hill and go in, when youre in the ground you acknowledge us and we will acknowledge you. You can even chant we,re the inside and we can chant we're the outside whatever. For this game show that even though you're going in you dont want to be there.

thinking of getting a head torch.

1) i will be able to see where i'm going.

2) i will be seen from the ground.

might get some glow sticks too.

Fill the ground and walk out en masse at the kick off. Would generate huge media coverage. Especially of theground was full two hours prior singing anti sisu songs. Can't bring myself to go bur would lobe to see this.
