Protest idea!!! (1 Viewer)

How feasible would it be to train a dog (maybe a labrador as they're experienced guide dogs so are used to being trained) to handcuff (pawcuff?) itself to the goalposts when we play Sheffield United? Well maybe not its paw as the cuffs would probably slip off - unless we got an overwight Labrador but that might be a bit unsightly. Perhaps we could put a chain around its neck (not too tight - don't want to get on the wrong side of any animal rights activists - they're mental! LOL!) and attach one end of the handcuffs to the chain and get it to attach the other end to the goalposts!!! We could even put it in a green and red scarf, or ,even better, a green and red t-shirt (animals in human clothes is LOLtastic!)!!!

This would highlight our plight on live television with no fan getting in to trouble!!!

I think you're on the right lines but if we set up a large trebuchet on the hill and catapult various breeds of dogs onto the pitch at regular intervals of say 10 mins we'll be onto a winner.

Start off with smaller breeds such as Yorkies and Poodles then building up to Great Danes and St Bernards, this would look great on Sky and really get our message across!

Are you getting a protest idea mixed up with your Britains Got Talent Act for 2014?

If we can add a few Siamese into the bombardment....then at least the sky commentators can state that its raining cats & dogs...

....or if we launch a few gearbox & clutch components from a Nissan car......it'll be raining Datsun cogs...

This would need practice because smaller dogs would go further maybe even outside the other side, so would have to move trebuchet back a few meters depending on the dog

Should use an Onager then. Just stick to small dogs.
Eventually those inside the ground will be chanting NOPM. Not One Pekingese More!

This thread is hilarious simple minds eh

I like your thinking, maybe catapulting 80's bands into Sixfields could have a bigger impact, Level 42 and Curiosity Kill the Cat could follow Simple Minds onto the pitch.

Imagine the look on Fisher's face as Johnny Hates Jazz hurtles towards the corporate seats!

I like this idea.

I'd go for "Living in a box" by Living in a box

Hang on, on seconds thoughts, it might give TF an idea

The Proclaimers could adjust their hit and sing "I will walk 34 miles, and I will walk 34 more"

I think you're barking up the wrong tree with this.

I think the lobbing of cows is a better idea. These were used in a Monty Python film, can eat the grass on the hill and will have a bigger impact.
