Today's attendance, according to the BBC website. Does this mean a few more giving up the boycott, which seems inevitable given the reports on how the team are playing, or did Gillingham bring quite a few up, taking advantage of not having an extra 35 miles to travel?
Hurts me to not go, but I will remain steadfast, although I won't criticize those who do choose to go......and if anyone on here did go, can we have a (fully biased) report of the game please!

Good form, attendances staying around the same numbers I'm pretty happy about that. Majority staying away still

Kev Monks will send you a report every week if you ask him to.

They played well again, the football is good the positivity from the stands is equally as refreshing. A pleasure to watch at the moment.

gotta say, this will completely confuse Fisher

He thought we would be back after 3 games, but I am not sure he thought we would be out the drop zone, so the crowds will really confuse him

Stand tall everyone, make no mistake about it, this is hurting them !

I missed the first game as I was on holiday but went to Preston and would have gone today if I hadn't beeen at work. Obviously most have had their summer hols in August, this may explain a slight upturn also.

200 is nothing really. Probably put about an extra £2k into the coffers.

The numbers haven't changed greatly, we will take more to Vale Park where at least we can all be United !

I think they will change a bit - but you're right, 2000 looks to be the par crowd now. It will deviate a bit when teams bring big followings or for xmas/bank holiday fixtures, and it will probably dip to 1500 for night games. If will be interesting to see if playing on a Saturday at home will have any impact, but I don't suspect it will make much difference. Of course, go into the last 6 games in the mix and this might all change.

Ill never set foot in that cowshed. Still a selfish few will go thus contributing to the continued absence of this city's football club.
Still,as long as they can get there football fix that's ok.

again if you think that this is keeping the club away from the city you're so deluded, its a deal between ACL and SISU that needs sorting. No fans sitting on a hill or even in the ground is going to change that my friend.

In 5 games time that will get them to fishers 3,000 budget figure. Also there will be sell outs likely with Mk dons Peterborough and wolves.

Fuck all Gills fans really. Been a steady increas of cov fans since Bristol.

Increases have been 500>20>180. I'd expect more than that on form alone. But it's too early, if we keep up this latest rate we'll be on 5.5k by the end of the season, but we won't keep it up. Form and weather will both take a toll.

Given how well the team are playing, I'm amazed at how low the attendances are staying.

Still not sure why it's a revelation if the team plays well more will go, and if it doesn't some will stop going. Doesn't alter the general point that substantially more would be going... elsewhere.

On a practical level, for the fickle (wrong word really, but 'fans who pick and choose games on impulse and feeling doesn't flow so well or catchily) majority of our fans, not like you can just decide at quarter past two to stroll up anymore is it? Was bad enough moving from Highfield Road for the last minute decision, let alone moving... further!

This is a strange one. We all want CCFC to do well but the better they do the more the crowds at Sixfields will increase (are you getting where I am coming from?). Yes, I want them back in Coventry as whilst this exile continues I am unable to attend. But, I feel that the Ricoh has so many negatives attached to it that I would rather they play elsewhere in the city. Am I the only one that feels this way?

Shmmeee = you forgot to allow for Timmy's 7 sell outs (2 of which will have to include giving all the 'spare' seats to Wolves fans and Peterborough (who will see it as a local derby, groundwise). The other 5 sell outs are obviously our cup run when after beating Man U, we trounce Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, before losing on pens at Wembley in the semi final to Crewe. Oh yeah, that makes 4, the other sell out is that Carlisle game at home on a Thursday night in mid winter:D

so if we ever get back to playing at the ricoh do you think it will be because of the fans that went to sixfields or the fans that stayed where we belong, Coventry???

well neither, its simply down to the fact that they managed to broker a deal between the two parties. No matter whether you go or don't, it isn't going to make a difference. The trust should be playing a part to get the two parties to talk but are not doing so (or don't know how).

Mk dons will sell put for the same reason as Peterborough. Bradford is possible as well. The average gate is likely to be around 3,000.

If this form continues it will be more.

fair comment but if they sold sixfields out for every home game do you think they would be so willing to come back any time soon??
