Heard the recent news about whats happening to your club and would just like to add my feelings and thoughts with you guys...

If any of you are like me, I have been a season ticket holder since I was 14 and travel up in down the country and in Europe to support my team.

From the heart break of the day we went into administration onwards you are constantly waking up and checking the headlines and online to find out what the f*ck is happening with my club. It really is a horrible experience and at times you are thinking what the hell is going to happen, whats next etc etc.

It might be different in England with your club but it sincerely didn't help, although I wasn't surprised, when every other club and majority of there fans/supporters were praying for us to cease to exist up here in Scotland.

Anyways all I can say is all the very best of luck to your club in this difficult time, probably the most difficult in your history, I hope you's come through this and your supporters must unite, get behind your club more than ever to get through this.

All the best,

Lee

Always one... Haha only joking mate:p.

Cheers lee mate, your spot on about the checking everyday doing me fuckin head in,

Yip it ain't nice at all, constantly on the FollowFollow and Twitter checking for latest updates, staying up late at night to see the early editions of tabloids, one day your told good then the next bad. Its f*cking horrible and honestly feel your pain.

I don't know the ins and outs whats going on but will try and have a read on it tonight after work.

It really is hard to be positive about this situation you's find yourselves in, one positive I felt it brought was the unity in support.

These words might mean nothing to some and can't change anything but I really do mean it, all the best of luck and I hope you's come through this.

when every other club and majority of there fans/supporters were praying for us to cease to exist up here in Scotland. Sorry Lee, maybe the whole of Scotland should of lay down and allowed RFC to continue the way they were, I appreciate your sentiments, but please don't make out RFC are innocent and have been hard done by, if the SFL had stuck to their rules the NEW club would have had to start at the bottom, instead they were allowed to start in the 3rd tier, they were imposed a transfer embargo that was not enforced, they have written off millions of pounds of debt, this money was owed not to HMRC but SME businesses in Scotland from the local paper-shop to Poppy Scotland, the reason your team was hated by so many is that after all of the wrong doings, you still blame everyone else, your support are now wringing their hands hoping Hearts will go out of business, your club is a disgrace and your support is not much better, and for the record, our situation is nothing like that of RFC. We Avoid Tax Payments....:D

Nice...regardless of their situation, lets not castigate someone coming on here to offer some form of solidarity or support from another club.

Well well well. We do have a live one here eh...

I'm not even going to waste my time arguing about some of the lies you have stated above. But again spout all the crap and lies you want and continue to hide the truth, sadly that is just the norm regarding some people and football clubs. Somethings will never change.

Apologies to the decent Coventry city fan, I don't and didn't want this thread to turn into a Rangers discussion but it seems some people cannot hide their obsessiveness and hatred towards Rangers.

Nice words. Different for Rangers though as they still had an identity; they still played in their ground and in their city.

As I said mate I don't know the full background on to what has and is going on regarding your club, I am staying in tonight so will have a read up on it. Hopefully some good resolution can be done if that is the case.

From one weegie to another, thanks for your kind words. I have the feeling this sorry saga has some way to run yet.

Its not easy mate, not sure of your situation. But I feel as if we are only starting to move in the right direction again as a football club in the last few weeks, however I remain wary you just don't know what could happen.

Sbr, regardless of the goings on at RFC, it is no fault of the supporters, they have no control over the wrongdoings, just like we have no control over the scum running our club, so to castigate Lee, who had come on here with sincere intentions is wrong and I apologise to lee as a cov fan, thanks Lee!!

Pompey fan here. I would also like to add that I am gutted about the situation your clubs has found itself in.

I have been watching my team for the last 20 years and have enjoyed some very good times and some very , very bad times.

I have spent the last 4 years seeing various parties kicking the sh*t out of my beloved club and just when we thought it was dead, they kicked it some more. We're still on life support but slowly the rebuilding begins and one by one the wrongs put right.

As leerfe54 said, supporters must unite and take on the guys in charge who don't give a monkeys about you or the club.

I sincerely hope it works out well for your guys.

From a Pompey Fan.

Thanks for the Opening Post! Good to see we have support from other clubs around the UK.

Another Pompey fan here, echoing Frattonender's comments above.

I know we're barely any other club's cup of tea and the way our club acted when it was infested with the rats in charge was downright atrocious. But I also know that, at the end of the day, any club on the brink of, or going out of business entirely is not what any fair-minded fan of football as a whole would want, and shows just how corrupt the modern game truly is.

I hope there's a way out for you, whatever it is. And if it comes to the worst and you have to tread down that path of starting afresh, don't be scared to take it. Other clubs have done it before, I've spoken to fans of the likes of Wimbledon and Aldershot and whilst they rue the past, they also looked at what lay ahead for them with excitement and anticipation. We were on the verge of doing it ourselves, and whilst I was dreading losing the club I've supported for many a year, the thought of being part of something new was, actually, a rather exciting prospect.

The fans now need to club together, as that's what the club as an entity needs the most right now. Ignore the thieves and charlatans running it into destruction as best you can, and remember what memories and passions the club itself envokes in you, and use that as the motivation.

If you want proof that modern football hasn't entirely consumed all and that the fans still have the ability to make a difference... well. We're starting in League 2 tomorrow, at a sold-out Fratton Park, with close to 11,000 season tickets on the books, and the city's buzzing. If we cock it up, then it's us that did it, and we'll take the blame squarely on the chin. We're as ashamed of what's happened in the past as much as everyone else is disgusted by it, but we can't change what the club was, we can only change what it can become, because now WE control the club, WE control the finances, and WE can tell the crooks, loan sharks and capitalists to do one, because it's OUR club. If we can do it, with all the crap that's been flung at us over the years, then I reckon you guys have got every chance of doing it, too.

Wishing you the best of luck with whatever you guys decide to do.
