If a last minute Ricoh deal was done? (1 Viewer)

If a last minute deal was done to play at the Ricoh, I would buy a ST based on last seasons prices let alone the cheaper £207 they're offering at Northampton.

The 'keep cov in cov' campaign would mean sweet fa, if fans then boycotted in large numbers at the Ricoh.

At £207, season ticket would be very appealing.

I do still stand by the "Not One Penny More" campaign though, as I do not feel SISU/Otium are the best interest for the club, but the whole "Keep Coventry in Coventry" campaign would have been for nothing if people still don't attend at the Ricoh.

I do agree with this. After all the fuss we've kicked up about keeping cov in cov, people outside of cov would think we were all nuts if we then boycotted the Ricoh.

Coventry playing in Coventry is the most important thing.

Forget owners, players, managers, league positions, I'd get a ticket if we were at the Ricoh, no question.

If it was 207 quid then although I hate SISU with a passion, I'd buckle and have to buy one. The march on sat was based on keep Cov in Cov, if this happens then we have reached our first objective. Phase 2 must then be deployed and let's oust these bastards.

but it is academic isnt it because it would never be that price. It is only 207 at Sixfields because the club are trying to mitigate the costs of travel. At the Ricoh it would be at least £100 more (Dan Walker said that was the discount the club worked for the £207)

Desnt affect me as I have a company car, but where can you get to northampton for £4 a game?

I assume if you bought a ticket now for £207, the club would have to honour that ticket in the event of a move back to the Ricoh. Whether they'd then raise the price for people who hadn't already got one is another question altogether.

EDIT: I also assume they'd have to give the option of a refund on any tickets bought with Sixfields in mind. Not that too many people would want their ticket refunded.

I have to say that it would go completely against the grain to give those crooks a penny, would be happy to go back on what I have said previously if City were back at the Ricoh.

Only on the basis that keeping Cov in Cov has to be number one priority, then we can concentrate on driving the lunatics out.

I would guess that the majority of last years average crowd would go if the team played at the Ricoh. They could even discount last years ST price and still be better off at the Ricoh than the deal they have at Sixfields.

That in its self knocks a big hole in the financial arguments used by TF & SISU to justify the the ground share

For me it would depend on how the deal was done, SISU have shown no commitment to supporting a successful football team and their objective will not have change in the last few weeks, just the tactics. So we could potentially be in a weaker position than at the end of last season with a lot of slates wiped clean. For me the jury is out.

Can't see us being back at the ricoh...it's too late . They've had months to try and agree a deal, its not going to happen in two weeks.when we do kick off at sixfields i wonder how many fans will be able to stay away.it will be a bit different when the season actually starts. Not one penny more ???? I hope so

I think if we get a last minute ricoh deal then we will sell more STs than we have for a long time.

That's 27 too many :) im not going to have a go at the diehards for going all they want to do is support the lads no matter who owns us.so long as there's a team on the pitch everyweek they're happy. It will be harder for the rest who've been going season after season to stay away.If we stick together on this we could get sisu/otium out and get our club back.5 seasons with no income they can't last that long.

Bit of a hypothetical question as we really don't know what'll pan out here....how long would you wait if the City kicked off in Northampton? Do we carry on ignoring Sixfields and do the away thing indefinitely? Or does there come a point where you have to look at it & form the new Sky Blues?
& yep it is 27 too many.

Just my view but I wouldn't want to support a new club, as much as I want sisu gone I'd rather support them with sisu as owners than not at all ccfc will still be here long after sisu.
