Fairly confident that this stroppy, bigoted, employee of C&W has strong SISU persuasions/is an employee of SISU. Throws his teddy out of the pram at the drop of a hat, be it a caller knocking the formation or SISU, he immediately takes a sore tone and does his best to fire down that caller/texter. Does Linnell actually go to the games or is he just reporting back on his laptop with a microphone, from his garden shed? Unless it is something completley enthusiastic he fires off. Does Linnell really think a manager like Steven Pressly could take us up, just because he's as boring to listen to and as clueless as himself? Looking back to the Derby home game last season, I'm fairly sure Linnell grabbed an orange steward jacket when he sawthe SISU out banners and ran over to confiscate it.

I thought he sounded a bit silly. "Jordan Stewart should never play for this club again after his red card V Walsall". Sounds a bit Kevin Kyle-Esque to me!

As for slating Ball and Wilson, just because Cody didnt get on, then to say in his next breath he left 10 minutes before the end and didnt really see Ball play!

In one breath Juggy says- 7/8 games isn't enough to judge Pressley.. in the next breath he states he's seen Billy Daniels twice and he's not good enough... double standards?

You know as well as I that it only takes one look to know if a player has it or not irrespective of how he plays in that particular game.

I agree Stewart has been dire. But while hes on our books and if Pressley has decided Haynes isnt ready just yet, hes gonna play. I don't rate him, but to say he should never play for us again is a bit ott!

As for Ball, SP must have felt Cody wouldn't be suited in the conditions and Ball may have been. Again, I think Ball gets the nod over Cody because of height

Today he mentioned at Crawley ground, the Bruce Winfield stand.

He said something like "I dont know who he is , but good afternoon to him". I checked on google when I heard it and found out he was a late chairperson of Crawley who died in 2011.

Some questionable journalist research there by Stuart Linnel. Very easy to find out.

I find him overall mixed some good and some bad. However he did seem to lost the plot a couple of weeks ago when he was under fire on this forum.

Remind me

How well did Ferguson do in his first 7/8 games...

I'm not saying sp is un the same mould but...

I'm kind of thinking my points been lost... It wasn't get rid of Presley or Daniels .. It was that the level playing fields of games to judge their respective abilities wasn't obvious?

He did and he is a second emergency left back for a division one club. We are what we are and he is what he is.

He lost the plot last season. Whilst I agreed with him that Thorn was in a situation that many experienced managers would have struggled with, his tone towards those wanting Thorn out was disgraceful.

Talking over supporters with "You don't know anything about football if..." was ridiculous. Jog on Stuart.

I have to say while I thought we appeared to take a risk appointing Mark Robins it turned out to be a coup. Not only that but the way he spoke about the games, his philosophy around everything and I found myself almost in total agreement all the while. I knew almost from the first interview he gave that he would do well. Rather like a footballer on a trial you can judge well enough very quickly (all in your opinion of course)

Now Pressley did not do that for me in anyway shape or form. From a club like Falkirk who you imagine would be happy with minor successes yet their own fans did not rate him very well. He is young and seems wet behind the ears for me but more so just lacking in the skill sets to achieve coaching success. It's not harsh it's just an opinion I get personally. His after match interviews and his suggestions from day one we need to work on 'new ideas' and change a few things wrankled with me. We had the best away record in the league and were the top goal scorers! There's putting your own stamp on things and then there's leaving well alone. At this stage of our season (prior to points loss) he started changing things. I think he just got fortunate to turn the home form round slightly but that was always inevitable but he has destroyed our away form albeit losing a couple of players to injury. I don't know him well but from what I see and hear he would not inspire me. Injuries have also taken a huge increase since he brought his staff in? Under Robins injuries were rare. Type of training perhaps? I remember that contrast well when Robins took on the job and those same comparisons were made about Thorn?

He tries to be a shock jock like Jon Gaunt. Whatever people think of Gaunt he is good at it and can engage debate. Linnell is bad at it. He sounds false and stupid most of the time.

Any good presenter will take the opposite view of whatever the caller is saying just to get that person to properly argue their point.

The problem with Linnell is when he does that he has to try and win the argument. He should just provoke the caller slightly, then let them have their say.

Thought Steve was a great caller...had Linnell on the ropes a few times so he had to resort to his 'insider' BS. "I'll tell you for a fact that the people at the very top at SISU were appalled at what happened" "Story to be told there that can't be told yet but will be"...Sorry but there's playing devils advocate and there's being a mouthpiece for SISU. If you have any details of the extenuating circumstances which have led to us being in the shite then tell us...otherwise don't say anything.
