The toilets at away games are always smoke dens, why can't they let fans have a fag at half time?

Err Its illegal.

Also why should I have to go to the toilet in your filthy smoke.
Selfish, self centred, littering and makes your clothes stink just to name a few other reasons.

Good for the stewards

  1. Smoking in the ground is illegal
  2. You know fully well it is illegal
  3. You chose to break the law and are now moaning about your actions.
Yes it was unfortunate it was you that got picked on, but if it was someone else you wouldn't come on here claiming that stewards are crap because they kicked a smoker out. No sympathy from me.

I'm not a smoker, but I do think its silly that other grounds don't let supporters out at half time. As already mentioned, it just creates problems for us non smokers when the toilets are full of people having a fag.

The Smoking Ban in general was a massive over-reaction......and the way its been implemented at football ground etc. is ridiculous.

There should be designated smoking areas within grounds.....preferably in standing terraces (but thats a different argument)....especially as football grounds are OUTSIDE spaces!

Same as there should be smoking pubs & smoke-free pubs......give folks the choice whether they wish to drink or work in them.

....Ridiculous legislation from top to bottom.

Thats said, davebow87 took the chance and lost the gamble.
Unlucky mate.....although bearing in mind the preformance & score-line, I'd say you got lucky to miss the 2nd half & avoid the train station queues etc.
