Hahahahahahahaha hope those bastards go down after all the shit they have been talking over the years!! :claping hands::claping hands:

Is this true, a crap club like Sunderland has sacked a manager like Martin O'Neill for losing 1-0 to run away Prem leaders Man Utd. The champagne must be strong in their boardroom.

What a joke :jerkit:

Yup Sunderland going down would be great after their forum outburts earlier this season

Villa
Shudders field possibly too and Leicester to miss out on promotion? Not bad

Although maybe its best Huddersfield stay up? They will have money in l1

It is a bit bizarre to sack him for failin to beat man utd the league leaders by some distance.

think it was more of the manner of defeat

i watched it and said to my pal, this sunderland team has religation written all over it

I think the manner of the defeat on the back of a poor series of results with no indication that there is likely to be an improvement did it. Listened to only a bit of the commentary on the radio - a rather weakened UTD side (if there is such a thing) were cruising 1-0 up about 35-40mins in. There were huge cheers when Sunderland finally ventured into the UTD half.

That's what sets alarm bells ringing, no fight even apparently.

yep happy that they are suffering after the shit they gave us last year. If they do go down they cannot pin this one on us this time!!!

Blaire Adams tweeted something about this last night, he couldn't believe it and believes Sunderland will get relagated for getting rid of him.

He tweeted: "O'neill gone! Unbelievable the twists in football. I'd hate to see Sunderland go down.Shocking timing for it."

Big shock. Team near bottom of the league gives the manager the boot. Happens everywhere except last season when it didn't happen here. Adkins McDermott and o'neil all gone. Wonder if any if their fans are outraged about context or saying any were the best manager in half a century?

I doubt it. They will just be hoping for survival and the price of being near relegation is the sack - as it always is - except here.

Its quite amusing how obsessed they are with our misfortunes. They've been rattled by us for over 30 years :)

Never liked Sunderland after the racist chanting they displayed against us at HR when we were in the premiership. Horrible bunch.

If was a Mackem, I would be gutted for two reasons: 1: MON is going, and he is as good as manager as they can attract, despite recent form, and 2: the two-man shortlist is for Di Canio and McClaren. If they go down, Ellis Short better try to find the escape tunnel !!!

Or and a thrid reason - I'd be a Sunderland fan from Sunderland :jerkit:
