News today is that there may be pilot studies to re-introduce alcohol pitch side.
Not for me.
Not for me.

Can't see any scenario where that is a good thing.
EDIT: Especially when a goal is scored.
Our defence looks like they've been on the piss already, so I cant see why more alcohol pitch side is going to help.News today is that there may be pilot studies to re-introduce alcohol pitch side.

The chances of a bellend having a full pint in his hand at the precise moment we score our 1 goal in 5 matches is pretty remote tbf.Too many bellends will want to throw a pint in the air if we score, for that reason alone I wouldn't want them to allow it.
Interesting to hear that your whole "alcohol at sporting events" policy is based on once being sat in the wrong seat. There's a sizable minority of football fans who make it their life's mission to be bellends, and the fucking insufferable Boxpark culture means it's inevitable that pints will go flying when a goal is scored.
I've posted before that I was hit by a basically full pint someone had managed to smuggle in after George Thomas' goal at Wembley, so got a good smack on the top of the head and soaked in lager. I've been 100% against the idea of bringing pints back to seats ever since.
Its actually quite normal for a Prime Minister to be un-elected.Utterly stupid thinking, even with disposable Tommy tipper cups. Just goes to show what a pleb Burnham is. PM without anyone voting for him
Yup exactly this - bad enough with without having booze in the stands - have missed a goal before when people get up after 20 mins - even with my mega prostrate I can last 45It’s actually going to rugby matches that puts me off, no pint chucking but you have to move every 2 minutes to let people out for a piss or another beer run. Ended up with wet feet more than once too when someone shuffling along the row kicks over 4 pints stashed under someone’s seat
At £7 a pint I think Doug is thinking ahead on the oneCant think of anything worst. To many idiots throwing beer up in the air at any opportunity
More likely to need pushing if it doesn't have legsI agree, but given its the new PM pushing it it might have legs
I assume because you sit on the side where Doug is and the bell ends won't affect you.Why am I only one who thinks this is a good idea
How's that work if you have a season ticket and there's no where else for your group to move to ?If its in designated areas then fine, if you want to drink during the game you do so in the knowledge that you may get soaked. Everyone else stays sober and dry
Just goes to prove how those bunch of fucking yuppie out of touch robbing cunts know about things that don't concern them, unless its a ploy because one of the wankers have a raincoat factory, the morons that go to matches would be in their fucking element chucking beer around and causing problems.. God fucking strewth the fucking tosspots can't even run the country correctly unless its another stealth tax they are trying to invent to fucking shaft the alleged electorate even more.. Fuck off you cunts...big rant I know but needed to get it off my chest
Probably because everyone else thinks it isn't .Why am I only one who thinks this is a good idea
Most people seem to be against it because of the bellends who'll inevitably have their phones out ready to film themselves chucking their beer in the air. That sort of planned/forced celebration doesn't happen in other countries - if a group where doing that intentionally in my local Curva they'd get knocked out.Amazing isn't it. I've been to so many games in Europe where the fans are trusted to drink. They don't always behave but for the most part are left to get on with it and it is fine. It's a normal part of football.
Only in the UK the 'you can't do that' 'you can't say that' culture takes over and everyone is babysat because they are expected to spoil it.

That was my first thought but then the implementation would raise other issues. If you do / don't want to drink but aren't in the designated area you'll have people kicking off about having to move from the seat they've had for years. If its in designated areas then fine, if you want to drink during the game you do so in the knowledge that you may get soaked. Everyone else stays sober and dry
