Who says you have to sing a cringeworthy song though? You can still support them without singing plus it's safe to say nobody ever takes on board these dire suggestions anyway

Hell yeah, and then there's the fact that he would be leaving a team favourites for the PL title and in the champions league, for a team favourites for relegation.

And then there's the fact that he's now in a squad packed with world class international talent rather than a squad with Simms, Eccles and Wilson in it.

But apart from that yeah, totally feasible.

The old man never used to sing at matches. It’s only since taking me and me being an enthusiastic loudmouth that he was able to shed his self-consciousness a bit.

Just before getting to the Bristol game last year, I turned to my lad and said, “this’ll be fun, we’ll have a good ol’ sing song”. He agreed and we did. He bloody loves it!
 
The Artist needs to be unleashed tomorrow. Wonder if Frank wil be brave enough to start him.
 
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere.

Heard he had a little huff at the end going down the tunnel - this was mentioned by a called on CWR after the match. Then Lampard alluded to squad members having to be part of the success even when not playing etc, in his Sky interview.

Dont like hearing stuff like that, this is going to need a squad effort.

Then again it shows we have players that WANT TO play. As EMC wasn't at his best he probably thought he'd get on, but Frank called it right. Gboho looks more of a creator, and we needed a runner and worker at that point, which you'll get from Sakamoto. Frank would of seen a lot of that behaviour at Chelsea (playing & managing) with big names on the bench. Be interesting how he manages it. Tchaouna didn't even make the bench, and wasn't injured (confirmed by Frank). That's 2 players we spent a lot of money on, I hope they don't get frozen out

Agree with this he’s sat watching EMC having a bit of a stinker probably thinking what have I got to do to get on. However as you say at that time tats was probably needed more. Hope his huff doesn’t harm his chances of playing against Spurs or Fulham and Frank cuts him a bit of slack.
 
Apologies if it's been posted elsewher, but I expressed surprise last night that Tchouana wasn't in the squad last night, as I'd have started him in Asante's position, and was told by the lad sat behind me that he'd apparently had a bust up with Frank (about laziness?) and was dropped from the squad last night as a result.
 
BTA was poor on the right but when he swapped to the left he got a bit more involved. I hope this lad gets his chance. He will be better than EMC I am sure

We don’t know what happens in training etc. Sometimes talented players think they can just turn up and still be picked on a Saturday (or a Monday). It’s about attitude, work rate and being a team player

This is also the situation that some of the ‘sign everyone’ fans need to understand. Keeping talented players happy when they aren’t getting much opportunity to play, especially in prem when not in Europe, is a massive challenge due to lack of games

If he is sulking he needs to grow up though. This is a team game and your team just won second game on the bounce and first home game in prem for 25 years. Work hard and have the right attitude and he’ll get his chance as he looks a player !

I have a feeling Lampard treats new players mean when they first arrive. To lay out the ground rules and nip bad habits in the bud. The basics are non negotiable. Be fit and work hard before anything else. Doesn't matter how good you think you are that comes first.

I'm sure they will buck up and take notice.

Can we just give all the new players a chance, we're 6 games into a Prem season. Some of the crying about signing Pinnock for what is basically fuck all in Prem money is looking ridiculous. Gboho i'm sure will get his chance soon. Not all signings will work out, that is totally normal, we've had a good hit rate in recent years though.

I mean people questioning his attitude cus hes disappointed hes not starting is hilarious. I'd rather him be annoyed than happy to sit on the bench and coast just collecting his wage
