Dan Bentley has joined Coventry from Wolves on a free transfer as back up to Carl Rushworth.

They are waiting to see what happens with Sa. I know one of the U21's keepers and they havent sent him out on loan as they dont have a clue if they will be able to get Sa off the wage bill
 
Wilson or Dovin not going to be registered?
 
I'm sure Jacobs and Crook leaked another one of our transfers this Summer.

Presumably means Dovin will be loaned out?

Most the comments are basically 'who's playing in goal then?' He's coming here to sit on the bench because he's happy to do that and he's better than Wilson. Now we can send Dovin on loan. Not exciting but a few people predicted we'd do something like this with the keepers and we have. Good shuffling imo.

They think hes shit, but hes not coming here to play really. Just cover in case (and hopefully doesnt happen) rushworth can't.

It doesn't improve us if we just kept Dovin as a number 2 tbh but it does allow us to get him out and playing again which is crucial for his development.

I’d be worried about Dovin coming in for a prem match after not playing for this long tbh. Rather a safe pair of hands.
 
Weird signing, a) because he started for Wolves last week, B) because it's stated as a free and he has a year left on his contract and c) linked to b) he's surely one of their lowest earners so the need to offload him and a free doesn't make sense.

But PL experiences, would be a great no. 2 allowing Dovin to go out on loan.
 
I'd be amazed if its a Dovin sale. If we go down he would be first choice

Let's just hope Rushworth doesn't pick up a bad injury. I cant see Bentley being any better than Wilson, and Wolves fans dont appear to be at all bothered by his exit.

Be interesting who gets named on the bench.

I can't imagine they would he overly bothered about losing their bench keeper tbh but he's better than Wilson.
