Arsenal tickets (3 Viewers)

4 booked, come on the Sky Blues, start of a fantastic season

Didn't realise the supporters clubs were still getting theirs in addition to the ballots. Just been offered a few through a couple of the clubs. Fair play, should be easy getting them this season now I know that .

That's not what the announcement said

Why would they show before they're on sale?

Normally I see the upcoming away fixture and the points band they're currently on sale to. Then when it's my turn the 'Buy tickets' link appears, so I assumed it would be the same. This is the first time I've been in the initial band though, so guess the fixture doesn't show at all until then.

Had an email from the club in plenty of time.

Laying out exactly points, times and allocation.

Nothing wrong with that communication & it was on the socials too.

As i said before, anyone below 1500 wont get a look in this season

Thought there was enough to creep into 1400?
It's odd. They never went on sale to 1400 at all, and everyone is guaranteed above 1500 so it can't be the very last ticket when to the last eligible person just before midday. I'm ok, but was hoping I could get one for someone else on 1490. Ah well, it's what it is I guess.

The sold out article on the website was put up before 12:00. So how was that possible unless they allowed the 1500+ to buy for people with less than 1500 points.

Or the Club is giving tickets to other groups.

There was but a tiny amount
Not sure they did. Club tweeted they had sold out at 12.01, it would have taken a minute to write the tweet, and not enough time for people with tickets in their baskets to complete purchase. It was a scheduled tweet I think, there were never going to be any at 1400.

The article on the website, not X, was timed before 12:00. I’ll just check to see if it’s changed.

Just checked, the article is timed at 11:57.

Definitely didn't go on sale to 1400+. People on 1500+ added to the 10% for the ballot is less than the total allocation. Extra tickets given elsewhere? Or membership/friendly purchases since the last figures per bracket were released have bumped people into the 1500+ group?

They said everyone with 1500 points will get a ticket, that should of meant some left over, not even offered to me on 1400 😠

The 300 in the ballot come out of the same pool as the points holders. So they couldn't open the 1400+ window without the ballot holders potentially losing their allocation. Obviously this can be remedied in the future by only giving them guaranteed access in the first 2 hour window rather than 24 hours.
I don't know whether this means any tickets will become available to 1400+ after their window to buy shuts tomorrow

So your basis that there was no tickets sold after midday was that tweet was sent fast?

You don't think the club would preempt that the hand full of remaining tickets would sell out immediately given we just sold close to 3k in the first window?

Okay you've won me over.

you used to be able to put them in your basket a few minutes before they went on sale into the next bracket. Maybe people have done that at 1400.

id have had a shot in the 1400+ bracket if there wasn’t a ballot.

Thanks Doug you money grabbing c**t.

All they had to do was to keep those ballot tickets in a separate allocation, which Ticketmaster was doing with a separate button. So any remaining tickets could then be sold.

Makes no sense.

The Club must have allocated tickets to others without telling us.
