Don’t talk politics much beyond vague disbelief at what they’re playing at in govt but yeah I think reform are going to win a lot with the left split.
Dad is good, so so glad I’ll get to see PL football with him again. Maybe we’ll even stay up long enough for my son to see it too (how young is too young to bring a kid to games?

I took my lad when he was 5 to our last game in the Prem v Bradford. The shittest game anyone could watch but he was hooked instantly. Like Shmeeee I've been there too, and best of luck for the future buddy...it does get easier.
Had a dreadful time over a number of years, even having to step away from the football for quite a while as well due to personal reasons...but its got better, and definitely onwards and upwards.
Like our magnificent club, you can go to the bottom and come all the way back up...and what a team and manager of stars we have!

Gotten some sleep and am ruminating on last night.
As a match, in isolation, I've got to be real: We were pretty rubbish. My heart sank at the XI and it's baffling to me that Lampard persisted with Rudoni on the right when it plainly wasn't working. It is a huge worry that without Sakamoto, we seem to have no drive, no flair, no creativity and no ideas. I've rarely been as angry as I was when Blackburn scored, but the change of shape, system and personnel injected some desperately needed energy and creativity that eventually paid off.
As an experience: The greatest of my Coventry City life and one of the greatest of my life, full-stop. The SBA utterly thunderous from beginning to end, the utter bedlam that ensued when Thomas scored will live with me forever. Drinking in all of the post-match celebrations, seeing King do the yes yes yes yes, Bidwell Allen Eccles and Wilson being singled out, there was too much to list here and I just didn't want the moment to end.
Fuck knows what's waiting for us next year, but I can barely bring myself to care. I was 13 years old when I last saw Coventry City play in a Premier League match and for so many of those years I was convinced it would never happen again. I'm just going to enjoy the celebrations and look forward to bringing the title home too 🩵

We weren't rubbish. We just weren't fluid like we normally are but Frank had evidently looked at it objectively, needed a point, players hadn't trained well that week, Tats missing and EMC/Onyeka off the pace for whatever reason so set up not to lose. Blackburn also played really well, they were gunning for us because they had to. Clear everyone was mentally fatigued from the pressure too.
Think it's a sign of how our expectations as fans have changed.
All that said I want to see us properly go for it now promotion is secure. Time for Markelo to show us why he was worth signing and for Haji and Rudoni to show they can step up with us.

Gutted I couldn’t get a ticket but you know what watching the videos of the sba throughout that game brought more than a tear to my eye!! Unbelievable noise all game and to not storm the pitch at the end was as classy as it gets. What an amazing time to be a cov fan.

I've wanted the title for ages now - never attracted by promotion through finishing second. Would rather win the playoffs than that. Gotta keep pushing for those winners' medals.

It was terrible, as have the previous two, really (though Hull are a good team), but at least some of it has to be put down to nerves and fear of making a mistake, making play slow and predictable.

Nope. All about making sure we are crowned champions at home. Nobody wants to be crowned by another team losing on a different day.Anyone else a tiny bit pissed off they were just passing the ball around at the back instead of pushing a last minute winner which would have been unreal
