They seem to have rested a few players against saints , with our game coming up .
Others are supposed to be injured , so who knows what kind of side they will field against us on Friday.

Blackburn now played and extra game this week and a long journey back from Southampton.
Essentially just one days training for them before the game whilst our players have had the weekend off (ahem) and been able to train all week

They rested a few key players last night, their fans basically said they threw the game with their lineup.

I assume we’ll get one of these flags/boards for an on-pitch photo op when we secure promotion.

No guarantees in football as we all know and experienced as recently as Saturday!

However, should we win this it could be the “moment” that we all feel we haven’t had yet. The Notts County away semi, the Middlesbrough away game, Wolves, Man U (until it wasn’t) moment that I’ve seen loads of people mention we haven’t had yet.

Still more work to do to win the title, but officially securing promotion I’d expect some proper player/fan engagement after the final whistle.

We're almost at the point where we can put our feet up and watch as the honours come to us

Ideally we sign off this season the same way we've dominated most of it though

Too much has happened to put us in the most favourable position possible with four games still left to play, and the Portsmouth/Ipswich result yesterday has put it firmly in my head: I don't use the "must-win" words but Friday has gone from "get a result" to "go out to win", and I think we will. It will be the greatest away day in the club's history, every one of us who were fortunate enough to be there will remember it for the rest of our lives. I can't wait!

Hope so

Anyone been in the Upper Tier at Ewood before? I'm hoping it's just one big concourse? Got tickets spread out a bit, and hope to still meet up.

I have seen photos of a barrier type thing between blocks up there, but also seen photos where it isn't there.

I've only ever been in the lower section, but there's a hospitality lounge between the two. That's where the away fans paying £140+ will be.

It's a permanent structure, so what ever photos you've seen mustn't be from there.

Can't say I really envy Blackburn, they remind me of us during our Championship stint in the Early Ricoh/CBS days, down on their luck being a bit neglected from those above and having to watch teams treat them as their 'big day out' as there is room to fit them in their big away end

I used to hate watching clubs bring 7000 fans in the South Stand when our home support was sparse, all the local sides, West Ham, Newcastle the season they come down and a few others spring to mind
