Not sure if frank or any player ever reads this forum

Lets be honest we are probably going up , and Frank will now forever hold a special place at the club no matter what happens next season For me its the fact hes probably given me the opportunity to watch premier league football again with the old man and my kids .

He will sit at the top table with jimmy , john george and mark and will forever be a club legend .

Despite me shitting the bed earlier in the season its the best season ive had supporting the club and frank and his team deserve all the plaudits for the wonderful job theyve done over the last 18 months

We arent always in agreement but we all want the same thing

Lets finish the job and have the biggest celebration this city has seen since 1987 PUSB 🩵

Him coming in shifted the entire mentality of the club. No longer the underdog. No longer looking at what other teams have. It’s about what we have and having the bollox to own it and be top.

Doug got a lot of stick for his infamous CWR interview when Robins was sacked but he was bang on about everything - including the need for an elite coaching set up to support the ‘deck’ of the players we had.

Is Evo wanted for sex crimes or something? Why the identity change?

I'm reminded of a conversation I had the day I met my Aunt for the first time in late 2014 (long story that one, won't bore everyone with details). Obviously at the time, the club was sinking towards it's lowest ebb with the seemingly never ending off field nonsense. We got to talking about the good old days with City. The cup win, the top flight days. Some of the great names she'd been lucky enough to see throughout the years. I remember saying that we'd probably never see those kind of days again. At the time, given what a mess everything was, it didn't seem an unreasonable conclusion. Certainly didn't seem like we were going to be having any new Legends any time soon.

And yet, here we are. On the brink of something special. I've thought about that conversation a lot through the season, how far we've come since those days. And to think, it even managed to get worse from there before it got better!

I went with my dad to the L2 playoff final and he was doing ok. We went to the 2023 final and he struggled a lot on a bad leg that he got hospitalised for over Christmas. He couldn’t go to the 2024 cup semi final because of that.

He is still not in a good way but I want to get him there to see us get promotion in the flesh.

Yes absolutely a legend.

Football fans are a fickle bunch- particularly as we have some 'newer fans'

Reminds me of Scott Parker's interview when Burnley got promoted last year. Something along the lines of, "i'll celebrate and the fans will love me now- even if they'll probably be booing me in 12 month's time."

If we have a tough time in the Prem. Go on a tricky run. Question Lampard's ability.
We NEED to remember what came before.

CCFC and England legend.

I know people WILL start calling for his head should we do badly in the Premier, but I won't be amongst them.

I am expecting a struggle next year and us just being able to stay up by the skin of our teeth would be a major achievement as far as I am concerned.

Going to back him all the way next season, unless he somehow completely loses the plot. Just can't see that happening though.

I think he has learned so much this season and become a better manager as a result.

He also has a fab relationship with players and fans alike.

I just can't see my calling for his head at all next season.
