Oh do they have more of each game now? I haven't watched it in years.
Most Saturdays now only have 4-5 prem games scheduled.... Maybe as well fill up at least half of the air time showing the actual games in-between the studio waffle and advertising the live Eastleigh and district schools egg and spoon race next Sunday at 3pm.

I was there with my now wife, aged 27 odd and we'd had no sleep after an all nighter in liverpool - how things change! It made me even more emotional on the day. I remember a kid balling his eyes out and consoling him with 'we're coming straight back up next year don't worry' - if that was you, I sincerely apologise for getting your hopes up... only 24 years out it seems...

It was certainly interesting. I remember the police shoving as many City fans as possible onto the next train, myself included. As the Brum skyline disappeared into the distance and the train headed for Coventry I remembered that I lived in Mid Wales and needed to get to New Street. A fitting end to a crap afternoon.
We were in that group as well and we could see it all kicking off on the main road but Old Bill just forced us onto the train in the usual WMP polite and courteous way.

Have to say Cov fans were far from innocent both before or after and as well as the fighting saw quite a few cars windows go through, wing mirrors being booted off etc.

Bizarrely I’d struggle tell you what I did two weeks ago but I can tell you I was wearing a short sleeved dark blue Henry Lloyd shirt that day 😎

For me MOTD is death by over analyse. Bore off and just show the goals!

Thank god for Youtube

That has pretty much made MOTD obsolete unless people are really keen to see the analysis or savour a good result.

Dont get me wrong, if/when we get promoted I will be watching us on it and savouring every comment. Other teams though .

It was the same with EFL highlights on ITV4, the first few years were awful, Presenting and pundits, just over engineered. This year they have found the right mix, Present from one ground for the main game, no pundits, and just highlights of the rest.

Edit: no idea how the txt has gone smaller as im using tapatalk!

I had a white Stone Island Jumper on, I still can't understand why I remember what I was wearing that day either 😄got chased down some side street but then mingled in with a load of Villa fans and got away from having a kick in

Some dirty c**t was spitting down on us from the stand above.

People can say there’s no rivalry there, and obviously Blues are their main rival, but I think a few people are in for a surprise when we finally do play them.
It will be their only local league fixture, and ours unless you count Forest. That said it’s been 25 years, it might be a bit ‘spicy’ but not like how it was after years of being in the same league.

I think Sky will like to Put us on the box - which will be great - and if we can get the odd victory we will be a thorn in the top 5s side - they also love Frank so we are going to see more of him on the box

Yes i can't see it being the same as it was..... nearly every game there through the late 90's up until we went down, there was something going on.

Funnily enough i don't ever remember any trouble with Villa at Highfield Rd.

Its got me wondering have the BBC broadcast a live City match from the CBS?
No, in the late 2000s the BBC went through a phase of having some live Championship games on Sunday's - Only remember us being a featured game once and it was away to Leicester where we were 2-0 down and drew 2-2, I can't recall us being broadcast at home though

Because we havnt played them for so long I sure stuff will go on, they'll be a large police presence the same for Leicester I'm sure

Please no, not the 'spicy' word again.
