Just crunched the numbers- I make our highest ever points total (adjusted for 3 points for a win) to be 84 in 1958/9 (2nd place in Div 4).

Got 82 in 1966/7, but over 42 games. Close to 90 pts if we'd have played 46 at the same PPG.

It took ages to get from 50 to 60. I’d already banked on that being the next few games. Nah. (Despite me being very guarded about where our next points come from).

So one game at a time and hope we get there soon.

Would be nice but would now require a win vs Swansea. Other teams have also dropped points and that obviously has to be taken into consideration. Because the top 4 (not us) are going to be playing each other a clearer picture will emerge after the next 4 games but if we can get 8 or 9 points from the next 4 games we would still hold all the cards. Therefore, a win would be great against Swansea, and I see many are predicting a home win, which is great, and a lose is not the end of the world as we will still be ahead, but a draw is possibly the obvious outcome. Personally speaking we have quite a few connections with Swansea from a player perspective and I think they are the type of team we enjoy playing so I think it will be a 1-2 result to us.
