5 keepers picked in a big England squad.

No place for Rushworth but somehow 35 year old Jason Steele gets in as 5th choice.

Yeah it’s odd. Surely you want to expose one of the best young talents to the England set up in place of a 35 year old who has no hope of playing.

Looks like Jamaica have a knock out semi final on Friday morning in New Caledonia which is east of Australia & if they win that they have a final in DR Congo on Tuesday at 10pm so a fair bit of travelling for Joel & Ephron.

That is not ideal at all with our game on the Friday. Bit of a piss take actually.

Yep, not too bad. Both games at the same stadium and the second game kicks off at 3pm on the Tuesday so hopefully they can get a flight back that evening.

The scheduling is awful with having the two games on Good Friday and Easter Monday as well. Lampard did mention this as have most managers i can imagine

As a kid I used to wish our players were good enough for international duty. I remember being proud that huckerby and Dublin played for England b or something once?

It's a shame some new age fans prefer if when they don't so they can rest etc. I get the logic but it's not the football I grew up with that's all

Huckerby wasn't called up i dont think. Froggatt was but never got on the pitch.
Aside from that I don't think that's true, most people will love watching their players play international football, just maybe not in Mexico just 3 days before a game when we're balls deep in a promotion battle. Its really fucked timing.

*edit - sorry you said England B, in which case you are right.
