Unpopular opinion of the day…..

Barry Bannan would of been a better signing than onyeka. He’s overrated. .

I disagree. BB is a good player in the Championship and would have helped with our push for promotion.

I don’t however see him as being good enough to help us stave off relegation from the PL next season, whereas I think Onyeka will be important to us in that fight.

Think Undav would be a good signing for us.

Just thinking of possible cb targets. We did have him on loan but would say his got a bag of experience with him now. Leo ostigard...dont think he would cost the world in wage or transfer

2. all sound like they should be playing in the 1950's with Duncan Edwards and Stanley Matthews (or Victoria Cross winners from WWII).

I wonder if we will sign a statement number 10 to allow Rudoni to get his surgery over the summer and ease into the season

I think the scouting team will have a few 'potential unknowns' ready for when we are promoted. I think DA likes to scout like Brighton and bring in South Americans or Europeans for around 10 million who will increase in value. The way DK is talking we can expect 5-6 incoming and the way he commented about Sunderland and with the friendly manner he has towards the players I think undoubtedly he will give the squad the chance to show what they can do. I guess the aim is to stay in the premier, once we are there, then the second year will be investment and aiming for midtable. Therefore, I think his philosophy is right and the players we have should be capable of trying to finish above the relegation zone. I think he will spend 50-70 million on those players and possibly let FL bring in a few older heads on higher salaries to galvernise the squad together.
