From my experience they are absolutely useless, but tbf the one I had was about 5 years ago. Was just a gimmick

Had one for years that just did the hoovering, we were really impressed, however had too be shelved as soon as our new puppy came along

We got one in a sale a few years back. The capacity of it was kind of shit, it kept getting stuck and it sent our dog and cats around the bend so we just gave up!
