Even Gary Hinchcliffe criticised it. And he's a dick. The Saka yellow was criminal, even the ITV commentators said so. Also I felt the one for Onyeka was very soft, compared to some of the fouls and the dirty tactics they got away with!

he Andy's brother?Even Gary Hinchcliffe criticised it. And he's a dick.
That's the fellahe Andy's brother?
Onyeka's was his third one in that opening 25minutes. Could see it coming, I don't know if he was off the pace or doing it deliberately but the booking was probably a totting up as opposed to the foul being yellow card worthy on it's own.The Saka yellow was criminal, even the ITV commentators said so. Yeah the ref did the ‘pointing around the pitch’ thing.Onyeka's was his third one in that opening 25minutes. Could see it coming, I don't know if he was off the pace or doing it deliberately but the booking was probably a totting up as opposed to the foul being yellow card worthy on it's own.
Thought the ref got everything pretty much spot on today.
Only slightly debatable point was not giving a booking for kicking the ball away after what we have seen previously, but generally wouldn't want to see that there anyway.
Dread to think how many offside goals we will score.Don't worry about the refs chaps.
We'll be officiated by VAR next season.

Yea, no idea why anyone was calling for that. Even in 18 some were calling for it which was odd.The one where our fans were calling for a pen was spot on. Keeper took the ball then the man. Outstanding keeping and ref kept his head despite the pressure from the stands
It's an absolutely awful challenge that... Have to say I thought the red for Lats is pretty soft too given the position. I know rules are rules but for me that leg breaker if a challenge deserves a red way more than the Lats.View attachment 49704
this is a clear red card he missed. I didn’t rate him yesterday and I certainly didn’t when we had him earlier this season.
If you watch this bit back on the highlights he’s actually running away, I doubt he gets a good view.
the fact that he’s completely off the ground and he’s coming down with his studs make this so obvious.
and yes, I thought he missed a pen for them too. Didn’t make the highlights but players from both teams just stopped and waited for him to whistle
No complaints about Lati sending off, but was very surprised Randall didn't see a straight red. It's an absolutely awful challenge that... I know it's the rules but if felt quite far out hence me feeling it's a bit soft.No complaints about Lati sending off, but was very surprised Randall didn't see a straight red.
Yeah, but he would have been clean through. If he isn't fouled he probably goes on to score.I know it's the rules but if felt quite far out hence me feeling it's a bit soft.
That picture is a bit damning!View attachment 49704

Did you see the mass brawl in the Brazilian game ,ref sent off 23.Record is 36 red cards in an Argentine Div 4 game in 2011.At least he found the second yellow for their guy to even it up. Would have been a difficult second half playing against 11.
Every game is evaluated, each report needs to be made public/at least shared with the clubs. The refs gave their own ranking but that means nothing without outside accountability.
I know VAR sucks but next season we'd have had about 15 penalties we didn't get this year
