Since the win last night, I've got a weird feeling all over. It's a bit sicky but buzzing, scary but accepting, keep it quiet but shout the fucker out loud..............................WE'RE DOING THIS!!!!!

We will win this League and shut all the doubters the fuck up, If it's such a poor League and we're top, how fucking useless does that make all of them?????

It's crazy, if we can find 2 more away wins our home form should easily see it out.

Don't even think it will come to that

Said since about November time that if we were to do it, Pompey H On Tuesday 21st April is the one

Cant even say why just had an inkling ever since I looked at our last few games.
I have a school residential and im trying to get out of it or only do part of it so I don't miss that game.

Shame tbh looked fun!

I'm trying to create a visualisation of who can mathmatically/theoretically (not realistically!) get into the top 2. It's is very basic and only considers number of points available to each team in isolation. It obviously doesnt take into account where teams play each other etc - I can't think of a way to show this.

Blue = Could reach 1st
Green = Could reach 2nd
Red = Eliminated

Probably a bit early for it, but I will update after each set of games and it should start to get interesting.
You may need to change Leicester to blue after Saturday.

Can see us picking up 4/5 wins for sure not to mention a few draws along the way. We should get more than 85

I think my predictor has us win the league on 91

85/86 is the danger zone for me. Could be enough but might not be, think 88 should be enough
It’s based on how many of the chasing pack have to play each other in not many games. Suppose we end up with 86, with the goal difference any team bar perhaps Ipswich will need 87 to overtake us. That in turn means two clubs winning at least 8 of the remaining 11/12 fixtures.

This obviously isn’t impossible but it requires almost perfect form.

I think 88 should be enough. Maybe 89. Definitely 90

So 5 wins, 2 draws, 4 defeats - 88pts

Or, 5 wins, 3 draws, 3 defeats - 89 pts

Or, 5 wins, 4 draws, 2 defeats - 90

Won’t go up with 83 I don’t think

My reasoning for it is this

Firstly, 4 more wins puts us on 83. 7 games remaining, and we wont lose all 7, we've lost 6 all season. So say we draw 3 of them. Giving us 86 points.

For Boro to get to 87 they would need to get 24 from 12, thats 2 PPG they aint been that rate all season

Ipswich need to get 27 from 13, same as above

One of them could maybe fluke it. Both wont

Add to this, our much superior GD being worth a point if we end up level.

And finally Boro play Ipswich. Guaranteed points dropped one way or another
