Boro good but defensively Sheff U are a mess.
Oceans of space in front of their back 4.

Oh that good. We never leave huge gaps in front of our back four.

I think this result could be the best thing to happen to us, as it’s a massive wake up call and actually makes it real

every week it’s been drop points but it’s ok, we’re still top, we’ve still got an 8 point gap, 5 point gap etc…now it’s basically lose and potentially drop out the autos

if they can’t handle the pressure they don’t deserve to be top two, plain and simple

If the last two months haven't been a wake up call then I truly don't know what to say.

It's a good point

May make us finally pull out socks up and fight a bit more.

Been resting on our laurels a bit too much maybe.

Nick's gone very veins popping out his neck lately. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Very odd

We may fall off a cliff and this may well be the way our season pans out, but there ARE still 15 games to go.

As I keep saying, let's see if FTT changes our fortunes. I am hopeful he will

We're looking at 'may fall off a cliff' in the rear view mirror mate.

We’re more likely to be in the bottom six than the top six next season

Genuinely important we consolidate next year mentally we’re gonna be shot

Every time people were melting down under Robins, I was on the 'it'll be OK' side of things.

But I always had salient reasons why I thought that would happen.

No one who is saying we'll turn this round is giving me any food for thought.
'There's 45 points to play for'
'It's in our hands'
'Leicester did it'

They're not logical arguments. They're just statements of fact that have no bearing on why we'll get back on track.

The only hope I've got is Onyeka comes in and galvanised the team. It's a lot of hope to pin on one player who hasn't yet played any minutes.

The biggest food for thought is are our players playing anywhere near the top of their game ? No, If they start performing again there’s no reason why we can’t get our form back

It’s an ‘if’ and none of us know but it’s why writing the rest of the reason off seems premature to me. Even if you just get Grimes, Rudi and Wright anywhere near their best form we’re a totally different beast. A lot will depend on confidence though

The magnitude of improvement needed in every aspect of our game to beat Boro looks worrying. Their centrebacks have the confidence to play through the press and it seems to always set them on the front foot to attack. Whereas I’m not looking forward to our nervy passes to Rushworth just to hoof it up and lose possession
So many players playing below their level
Can easily change as quick. Might not but the players haven’t become bad players

I'm perfectly fine. No veins popping at all.

Maybe it's the denial and delusional people who can't see how delusional they are and the comparison and think it's odd?

Thanks for confirming they are playing well!

#sparksisalwaysright
I just don't get why you do this?

Someone says they playing well you say they ain't

When it suits your argument to say there playing well you pretend you have thought they playing well for months

It's weird.

Calling out Josh Eccles is ridiculous

call out jack Rudoni instead

or Lampard for that matter

easy fucking target, every time
Unfortunately Eccles is our weakest midfielder he does have the odd good game but its consistency he lacks Unfortunately and Lampard seems to agree to an extent having said that the rest of them aren't that great either

Not quite there yet, Clint

If Middlesbrough beat us easily, I will definitely start to believe the top 2 places might be out of reach, but we have been really good at home and if we approach the game with the right attitude, we can win the game.

Really need to up our game though and have our shooting boots on

Optimism. Not against forum rules, is it?

Racism? Go ahead. Optimism? Not allowed.

Oh here we go. Obviously touched a nerve with the hand holding.

Another one who hasn't reported anything but wants to cry. Press the report button..... You won't though because then you can't whine.
