15 games left.... 45 points available.
My guess is between 85 and 89.

If our bad run continues and automatics are out of the question, how many points do you think we need to make the playoffs?

Trying to stay positive…I’m saying 26pts from our remaining games will see us finish on 85pts

Home vs Boro, Stoke, Preston, Southampton, Derby, Shef Wednesday, Portsmouth & Wrexham = 18pts

Away vs WBA, Shef Utd, Bristol City, Swansea, Hull, Blackburn & Watford = 8pts

Before Saturday I had us down for 22 points at home and hoping/wishing for 10 points away. We should get fairly close to the home tally

If we don’t get to 10 points away from home, we don’t deserve to go up. December and Jan, there were some tough away games but we’ve threw away leads and it’s not good enough.

There’s no way that we should’ve surrendered a winning position at PNE, Charlton, Norwich and QPR in the circumstances of the game. You could probably include Southampton in that too if JDS hadn’t got a stupid red card.

Don't forget Ipswich, we were well on top until the Hirst incident, never recovered from that moment.

Yes, I thought we’d edged the game v Ipswich until they scored but in all the games I’d listed, we’d took the lead.

Most games away from home, you’ll struggle to lose if you concede first. The fact that in the last 7 away games, we’ve took the lead in 5 games and only come out with 3 points is not only a weakness and it’s holding us back big time.

3 points from 7 games is relegation form away from home. Our home from over the same period is 4-1-1 which is (still) automatic promotion form.

I still think we will win 8 games more this season minimum personally. Which would have us on 83?

So getting near 90 is definitely on

Hopefully our rivals don't push us to need that big a tally though

Need to be averaging 2 points a game for the remaining.

Boro is 100% the season decider
Lose or draw and play offs at best
Win and I really think we will kick on again
I think it will be a very close game when we will return to form

I mean you realise the draw loss scenario isn't true right?

It won’t be. Whoever wins or whether it is a draw, it won’t be a season decider.

Some fans seem to love heaping false pressure onto the team and creating false scenarios.

It's mad really and so melodramatic. 😂

"If we draw against Oxford it will be disastrous."

Hull lost, so we gained a point on them. If Sheff Utd beat Middlesbrough tonight, we will have gained a point on them too

So clearly by definition, not disastrous. But let's see what happens tonight. Let's see how Boro get on at Sheff Utd

Not beating 23rd at home is pretty disastrous in isolation

having said that if we beat boro everyone would have took 4 from 6

so if we have to do it the unexpected way so be it

It's funny cos they berated people saying they believed we were already promoted whilst declaring our title hopes are already over lol

Neither were or are true

I said Oxford would be a tough game.

They are all going to be pretty tough now, now we are getting to the business end of the season and teams are either fighting for their survival, or fighting to go up.

We still should have won of course. It was one of those days, especially for Wright. He missed a number of chances.

I don't see the draw as disastrous at all. A defeat would have been a result you could maybe label that against.

Really got my fingers crossed for a Sheffield win, or a draw this evening.. Really do not want a Boro win.

Yeah, I am thinking so too. And Rudoni and Wright owe us big performances. Torp too.

All been a bit of a shadow of themsleves and as to how they were earlier on in the campaign

Say this is the turning point, 14 games left, how many wins do we need?

8?
